I don't remember it as I was only a kid but my father told me the story every time we drove by the the monument at Aughnacloy and I always think about it myself now when I'm on that road. This was murder and there is no other words for it. I can't help but recall a photo of Aidan's dad outside the GAA convention that was making the decision on dropping rule 21 which banned British security forces from playing Gaelic games. The forces that killed his son,the soldier that killed his son was now being welcomed into the organisation, they didn't want in, they didn't want to play Gaelic games, it was just politics.
