If in Doubt,

You are very naive if you think Mr wenger took time out to send Lacey a letter.
That is what the PR boys are for in the club.

Lads I haven't read what's being said here apart from the last post, my mate a few years ago was celebrating his 21st he's a massive arsenal fan so his family wrote to the club and he got a similar letter, it's just Pr stuff with Wengers signature at the bottom.

If you look at it a recent County manager had just won somebit of silverware and he was whisked away to Glasgow , Why I ask.
Would the fact that Rangers were demoted to 3rd Division and fall off in yearly ticket sales in old Donegal have anything to do with it ?

Have Celtic made public the number of season tickets they have sold to Donegal folk over the last few years, or am I missing something here?

That's even if it was the PR boys.

Is this what is going on? I do not know much about it. However, i'd imagine true Irish basketball followers would support there own clubs/teams. Why are you so eager for me to answer the question? Do you think you have one up on me or something? Do you think it is a good question or something?

Its not beyond you. You helped deviate the discussion from the title. Read back if you do nopt believe me. You have been talking a lot about things not relevent to the title.

So what are the Polish and German peoples own sports?
Have they a national sporting equivalent to the GAA?
Other European countries don't do it like Ireland largely because they have professional football leagues of their own. I'd love it if we had the fanbase for the domestic league here to become fully professional and sustainable, but unfortunately most would rather spend their money in the pub roaring abuse at a tv than going to see their local team play.
As far as other European countries go, the Norwegians are mad about the Premiership too, possibly just as much as the Irish, despite having their own professional well run league with teams regularly featuring in European competition. Then again maybe they've all turned their backs on their Viking heritage...
What this has to do with a letter from Wenger to Lacey though I don't know, nice touch by the Frenchman, nice to see that some football clubs aren't as out of touch with fans as they are sometimes portrayed as being, even if the signature does look a little bit off.

i ment sport played in poland and germany in general i never said they had to invent it.
you dont buy a norwegian newspaper and find 20 pages of english soccer and any sport played in norway crammed into two pages like you do here.

Do you read a lot of Norwegian newspapers? :)

Have a look online, they all carry English Premier League stories as the headline sports news

why have you experience with norwegian papers hill or is that just a guess?..youv shown in the past that you have a struggle with facts.....what do you make yourself hill of lads following the nfl and nba over their irish counterparts?..and padraig harington plays in competitions which are practically all abroad similar to our soccer players so i dont know why you are naming him...our culture is fine certain newspapers have always behaved that way...most countries which have poor quality soccer leagues such as ours look to other nations to both play and support

Well if people know they're going to be full of British news instead of the Irish news the reader is looking for then surely the reader should have copped on by now and stopped buying them? Then again the majority of these papers are only Irish in that they have "The Irish" printed before their name on top of the front page, they're basically all sister papers to their British counterparts are they not?

As long as the papers are selling they aren't going to change the style of content are they?

Maybe GAA players who happen to follow the Premiership should give up their grants too eh..
