Maybe its genuine maybe it's not, Maybe Wegner signed it maybe he didn't. Maybe its wind-up or maybe it's just a bit of harmless fun on twitter.
Whatever it is or however insignificant it is it still seems its sufficient to attract petty begrudgery from Dublin posters

Oh get stuffed.... it's a sad state of affairs when such drivel such as this letter is lorded as some sort testiment... "Ohhh look...everyone... someone important knows about the GAA"

Liam is bloody spot on.

What the you care anyway according to you the game has been in Moral decline ever since its beacon of virtue - (Kevin Cassidy) was sent to ELBA
Ironic that you umbrage with obsure drivel

I full agree the letter is irrelevant but it is equally as frivolous as a few dublin players dirtying their Air max carrying one piece of 4x4 piece of plywood and a six man shift to fill one sand-bag

The gauge as to what merits a headline on here in off season seems to change with the wind

no its just sad that people worship a soccer manager who has not achieved anything in recent years letter as unbelievable and such an award to achieve its clearly another example of people having an inferiority complex towards soccer.

Ah well Rua... we all know that doing the right thing in Donegal is frowned upon.

You've all made that very clear.

I am not sure anybody is worshipping Wenger. The whole thing started because Karl Lacey seemed genuinely happy that Arsene Wenger signed a letter to him. As Ruanua said what is all the begrudgery about? Why burst his bubble (it is harmless whether it is windup or not)? The inferiority complex is on your side Hill16 as it seems to upset you that people follow the premiership. About 170,000 Irish people travel over every season. Would the attendance of every single game combined in the ound robin series of the national hurling league have a bigger attendance figures? (not by much I would say). Obviously the championship has more people attending. The fact is Irish people love premiership soccer. Whether they prefer it more than the GAA is hard to judge as it is difficult to accurately compare the two. Either way it is as much a part of Irish life and Irish sport as anything else.

As I said in the opening post, it's a nice gesture by the club/Wenger to a fan. The hysterical brigade were quick to pounce though. Lighten up
