Reassuring that my memory is well intact. That was a great day. Ridiculous weather, the second half was delayed by about 30 minutes because of hail. We ended an 18 year run without a championship win. Drew with Derry then in the Ulster semi. Tohill fielding a 45 that was going to sneak over right at the death. 1. In the 1992 Connacht Final the same crossbar broke for the second time, the previous being 1962 which meant the game was delayed while repairs were carried out...what was the venue? yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11571 - 07/07/2016 11:20:11 1877774 Link 0 |
