completely agree with tyrone tim...what absolute rubbish!!! some guys might not be weeping now but i'd say many fans have been left to feel like weeping after that wonderful tyrone team had finished with their counties (my own included)...ryan was a major cog in that teams success and there is jealousy and hypocrisy to be seen all over this thread...the same guys who criticise mcmenamin's antics would probably jump out of their seats in croke park if a player on their team delivered a big hit on an opposing player...nothing wrong with playing physical football...p.s. yes he was no angel but ffs people are making him out to be the only player to ever break a rule or foul someone in a gaa match...LAUGHABLE!!!

You tell him Tim, how dare the Cavan lad think that he can speak on behalf of all true GAA supporters, give your own opinion by all means but don't think you represent the mainstream.

well there doesn't seem to be too many on here weeping (apart from tyrone people), which is unusual when a long-serving player retires.

Breakingball 22 from Louth just above obviously disagrees with you.

Anyway who elected you to tap into the minds of true GAA supporters?
Open your mind to the possibility that your views are coloured by one dimension.
A number of posters on here have tried to give the Forum an insight into all the character and how he embodies much more than most would dream of in being a True Gaa person.

Don't see any Tyrone folk 'weeping' either for that matter , just thanking a fine footballer and a true Tyrone man for everything he has done for his county and wishing him all the best for the future. Weep, hell no, Ricey wouldn't be having it.
