Thats because when Kilruane/Roscrea/Loughmore/Cashel/Moycarkey/Toomevara won all those Munster titles Deisebhoy there was no Waterford club to be seen until Sunday when ye were beaten yet again!

Administrator: Please stop thurlesblues from starting this nonsense again. He has ruined this board over the past year or two and meant many of the best hurling posters have left to go elsewhere.

The situation is certainly skewed in favour of the Galway club champions (not their fault of course) in terms of their paths to the final. Obviously the Galway club championship is one of the most competitive around given the number of different winners that they produce and they may win as many anyway. Still it is a huge advantage they have. Nothing will be done, however.

Well as a Galway man I would firmly be in favour of all Galway teams going into Leinster, so senior, u-21, minor and club champions all should be put into Leinster. The same ridiculous scenario also exists at U-21 where Galway go straight into an All Ireland semi final with the Minors going into the quarters, something has to be done, which means it probably won't. One other solution would be an open draw once the county championships are completed, this could be run off between October and March?

Thurles Sarsfields would beat most county teams in the country.

Im glad they have started to take this particular competition seriously at last as they need a challenge outside of the Tipp championship now as before the club championship was only a competition to be fulfilled after the county final

so Im glad they are focused on it now!

Should you not start to take your school work as seriously? Tough to get places in secondary schools these days..

I hate the way another perfectly good thread has descended into point-scoring and getting one over the other regardless of relevance to the thread. The best few months on this board were when the administrator stamped all this out and stopped thurlesblues from posting. Now, it's back to the same old waffle.

I'm outta here. Enjoy it people.

That'd be a pity if the like of Pinkie was to go :( I've had tame posts unnecessarily (IMHO) edited or blocked so it's hard to see what value Thurlesblues unchecked brings to the forum. Anyhoo...

Was that not a blatant penalty for De La Salle towards the end of the game with the outcome still in the balance? Ref inexplicably gave a free when the forward caught it in front of the defender.

De La Salle & Mount Sion have 2 (more the Thurles) & Ballygunner have 1 (the same as Thurles) only one Tipp clubs have won more then 2 and thats Toomevara. So once again thurles is wrong

Pinkie

That is a pity again but you are not the first. Pudders, Hag and Cheese are gone as well. All fed up with people like thurlesblues and 4bythenore who add nothing of constructive value to the site except for gloating and one upmanship.
