Is the hype going to get to Donegal?

you honestly think players from a team who are not allowed mobile phones and who had one of their best players kicked off for a bit of indiscipline would kick up a fuss about this with Jim? He'd have their heads for such a thing. Stop stirring/wumming TheMaster it's not going to work.

I heard a rumour that donegal were all set to book the regency hotel, but the players kicked up a stink and wanted the burlington. These arent good things to be hearing in all fairness. Well, from my perspective they are but for the donegal lads this isnt good news

LOL

Ridiculous rumour. Obviously one heard on a bar stool somewhere.

1259485 Lads, I wouldnt make that up, what would be the point, its only an internet forum for gods sake, not as if its going to make a world of difference is it? Out of interest, have they announced their hotel yet?

Ah yes, a rumour, like speculation and conjecture, is a type of evidence! TheMaster, is your source called "fuzzy dunlop" by any chance??!

Are any of ye going to have the backbone to name the hotels? If I am wrong then no problem. But if it is so clearly untrue, then naming the hotels shouldnt be a problem, should it?

@TheMaster: are you surw your from Mayo / Ireland all my friends from Mayo are looking forward to the game and not bothering with what happens behind closed doors with either team. I dont know or i dont care where the donegal team stays all that matters is that they are in the final.

I'm not naming anything. But I will say that your "cast-iron" source may want to check his "facts".

Well lockjaw, the reality is I am trying to check the facts right this minute. So many jumped in to call it ridiculous, but none have taken on the rather simple task of proving it by naming the hotels. Does this not seem rather strange to you?

Donegal will win the AI this year

It's all a load of crap anyway. Who gives a flying headbutt what hotel they're staying in? The business will be done on the pitch on Sunday the 23rd. End of.

Your right jimbodub, its an easy one to call. Donegal will win this year with some to spare. How will Mayo be able to beat a team Tyrone, Kerry and Cork were unable to beat. Donegal has the fitness, strength and system to beat everyone. But sure let Mayo enjoy their big day out, but its the Mayo After Party that wont be great.

No county deserve an all Ireland more than Mayo but that will have no bearing on how it pans out. Donegal will have to earn it, they will be made work harder than they ever have.

How in gods name Mayo get any credit i just don't know , it beggars belief sometimes, it really is truly amazing. I honestly do believe at this stage some neutrals really have a hang up about Mayo in general, i don't know if its our good nature, our good looks, our general banter or what.

We have just knocked out the present all Ireland champions, we done the same last year, we are in our 5th final since 96, we have some lovely footballers, we have introduced that bit of toughness that we have lacked in the modern era to this set up and fook me all as we get is negative press with the same aul amadains smirking at us on tv.

I hope it never boils over with Mayo people and something nasty happens.

LockJaw, the point is that it might indicate that the players are looking past the game to the party afterwards. And in all honesty, if they are, then they deserve to lose it.

Jimbo will you ever grow up. Werent dublin trying to kill the game against laois? Do you think they wouldnt have done the same again to mayo if they got the chance? Wasnt cluxton taking an age over frees against kerry last year? I didnt hear you saying dublin didnt deserve sam or they didnt deserve to be in the semi final this year. The better team deservedly won on the day, let it go man.

These Mayo lads are often jumpy arent they...

Grow up for stating my opinion... Donegal made Kerry and Cork look average...

Donegal deserves to win this title... they had the much tougher route.

Well if that is indeed the case we will have to forfeit the match because if the players are all thinking like that Jimmy will have to boot them all off the panel.
A very likely scenario alright, the players wait until the build-up to the final before deciding to become a squad of prima-donnas, completely disregarding the ethos which has got them there in the first place. Hmm...

I'll put another way to ya buck, Mayo and Donegal are the two best teams in Ireland and deserve to be there, whoever wins this final will be deserving all Ireland winners, you predict Donegal and if you're wrong will be ready with more anti Mayo bile but there is one thing for sure mo chara, we won't give a fiddlers whats wrote in here if we are down in Castlebar with the big cup.

Jimbo, did you notice you didnt anwser any of the questions put to you? Another childish response. If you were a poster of any substance you would have addressed the points put to you. You dont need to worry about donegal or their route to the final, u just keep complaining and then pretending you were winding people up when you realise how foolish you look.

I agree lockjaw 100%.
So telling us the hotels should be a non-issue really shouldnt it? You see this is the thing, I genuinely was asking if any of the donegal lads had heard this, and I have to say their reactions are quite unusual. Your actions are speaking louder than your words right now. If I am wrong then I will say fine, no problem, but obviously we are going to need something better to go on that what has been provided. I have even given you the mode to do it by, yet you refuse. Does that sound right to you because I can tell you know for the rest of us, alarm bells are ringing.

Haha Master you're some buck. By any chance are you Enda Kenny's spin doctor? Listen, I'm not even going to argue with you anymore about it. May the best team win on the 23rd regardless of who stays in what hotel.
