I have only seen this thread today as I was in the RDS at a certain Mr.Springsteen......in the words of the boss: "I believe in a promised land " - Mayo fans, myself included will always and can always dream about winning sam and I think we think about it every day......its become our mirage. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11689 - 19/07/2012 20:16:08 1223012 Link 0 |

17.5 , that's what you can lay Mayo at, if yer that confident sure make yourselves a few quid on it. 51longago (Mayo) - Posts: 2981 - 20/07/2012 21:07:13 1223885 Link 0 |
No chance of winning an All Ireland, the likelihood is that they'll have to beat at least 2 very good teams to win it. They might get lucky with their draw in the Q/Final draw but there's simply not enough scores in that team to beat 2 good teams from there onwards. Going by the tactics they used against Sligo mayo have every chance of winning the All Ireland League in rugby.Top quality neck high tackles that the All Blacks would be proud of! Barnowl94 (Galway) - Posts: 3150 - 21/07/2012 15:44:54 1224186 Link 0 |

I hope you are right. As it stands they are the only team that could stop us. paddyogall (Mayo) - Posts: 5110 - 22/07/2012 11:11:01 1224826 Link 0 |
Mayo won't beat Dublin. This will be Dublin's All-Ireland. Mayo will do the 3 in-a-row in Connaught but it'll be Tyrone denying Dublin their 3 in-a-row All-Ireland bid. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9003 - 22/07/2012 11:17:40 1224830 Link 0 |
Well what do you all think now? I have been right all year with my predictions. Time for some credit for Paddy. I hope some of the contributors for this thread will eat a bit of humble pie. paddyogall (Mayo) - Posts: 5110 - 13/09/2012 20:04:52 1265863 Link 0 |
Paddy you haven't won the AI. Look at the thread title. Most people said no and they could still be right. sedico (Kildare) - Posts: 1682 - 13/09/2012 20:22:55 1265879 Link 0 |

I really wouldn't begrudge mayo winning the all Ireland, they're well due it, especially for their loyal supporters and their players who have really performed well all year. U though paddy are certainly not one of the nicer mayo fans so.. C'mon Donegal :-) Brolly (Monaghan) - Posts: 4472 - 13/09/2012 20:53:28 1265908 Link 0 |
