Haha ye very good OLLIE, forgot about that add, looked up what you were saying on google translate and to be honest I think I was doing a better job myself, your first post translated to:

"Joe Sherdian and the Meath football team jackets. I hope the start of the Dublin living daylights out of them."

HUH?!

It's called personation, but not to worry the end justifies the means. I'll try to stuff a few more votes in.

Going by the amalgemation of the Gaeilge and Béarla threads on Conor Mortimer it is clear Hogan Stand could do with a Gaeilge section of its own. There are some 'gaels' on this site who are just cannot be tolerent of Irish language posts. Their response to seeing a bit of Gaeilge is hateful.

Don't mind them culann, true gaels could never bear any hatred towards anything Irish.
It must have something to do with the tone of the posts

Culann: I don't think I've seen anything as pathetic as it before. God forbid people might expose themselves to something new once in a while. And we wonder why our country's in the dump? The fact that you might have to contenance segregation between Irish and English language posts on a GAA discusion board because a few people can't handle a few posts in Irish is unbelievable. Getting accused of snobbery and being pompous because I happen to speak Irish is both priceless and awful sad at the same time. Shameful carry on.

I understand from recent threads I have started as Gaeilge that there is a small minority of Irish people and GAA people on hoganstand that would not be in support of such an idea and would be hostile to such an idea and it is for that reason as a regular poster (and a relatively new poster) on Hogan Stand I propose a special section as Gaeilge as this would ensure that those who are hostile to the Irish language and Irish language threads being amongst English threads on this site would not be put out insulted.

I recognise bulldung the second I come across it, freisin
