Congrats to Clare.

By far the better team.

Dublin playing stupid, headless hurling without absolutely no plan whatsoever.

Daly destroyed on the line again in his final game in charge.

A win for hurling.

Congratulations Clare. Davy Fitz rubbing his chest there, mustn't be good for him.

arock, hahaha, take it on the chin lad,oh and btw, invest that type of money in Mayo and we could win the world cup for Ireland as well as liam and sam for the county.

what a finish to the game. the place was rocking by the end. the qualifiers give us some great close battles, I'd say they'll play Limerick next? That would be a cracker alright.

A great display of heart and self belief from a youthful Clare side tonight following the sending off.

Dublin's profligacy and a failure to use the extra man proving costly in the end. Feel sorry for Daly because with all the money pumped into Dublin hurling their last two performances against Kilkenny and Clare have been shocking.

Equally 51 no one likes a sleekid, sneaky gloater either! Dublin though they were poor were still in it at the end. My own county would probably have lay down and died after going 3 points down in the first 5 mins; Dublin hurling has made massive strides.

dublin hurlers are like kildare footballers, bodybuilders not natural hurlers, though in fairness to dublin they are not as hard to listen too.

great win for clare and nice to see you cant beat tradition. As we saw dublin are not the same when they have to play an away game and didn't have the ref to help them this time.

Arock, so because I'm from Mayo I can't comment on a hurling game? That's the height of snobbery. I know 51longago is annoying but why the need to throw wild generalised insults at a whole county because you have a disagreement with one poster? Incase you didn't know, hurling is surviving well here, without all the money that's been thrown at Dublin hurling. Do you think people from Leitrim shouldn't be allowed comment on football just because they are in the lower Divisions?? Once again I must say, grow up.

Absolutely devastated. Congrats to Clare they deserved it but Dublin let themselves down. 4 or 5 points up when Clare went down to 14 men, lots of wides, and lack of bottle is what has disappointed me. I hope this doesn't set back hurling in Dublin. There are lot of good hard working hurling folk in Dublin who will be devestated by this. I hope it is not then end for Daly.

Moomoo and your Mayo mates enjoy your win but beware, filleann an feall ar an bhfeallaire.

Hats of to the Banner, fantastic stuff. They were trading at 6/1 seconds after the wing back was giving his marching orders. Hard luck Dublin.

Dublin were outplayed and outclassed by Clare and there's no denying that they deserved to win and best of luck to them for the rest of the Championship.
Its disgusting to see so many people on here sticking the boot into Dublin. They had a great season last year but it just didn't happen for them at all this year. Its a pity that this was probably Daly's last game in charge but maybe a new voice is needed in the dressing room. I just hope that this season doesn't set them back after all the hard work.
And as for this rubbish about the millions put into Dublin hurling, how much money does Dublin GAA bring in for the GAA? If the GAA choose to give some of that money back to Dublin clubs then fair play to them.

Is this the start of the Dublin dominance of hurling we've been hearing about?

The Daly interview there shows how much it means to him, I'd say that was his last game though. How do the Dubs feel about it?
