That's understandable. No point showing this live probably won't be nearly as good as the two big ones on Sunday. BettystownRoyal (Meath) - Posts: 3353 - 06/06/2012 09:39:22 1187887 Link 0 |

I like that team ziggy but I can see McAnarney starting in the defense ahead of O'Brien! Royalroller (Meath) - Posts: 86 - 06/06/2012 13:11:44 1188121 Link 0 |
it's funny how in experienced thedefence you pick compared to the attack in your team ziggy. i'd go with a team along those lines and if we can get over carlow the game will bring all those new lads on a good bit. it's not like were kerry or dublin who would be wasting their time with a team like carlow. No disrespect intended but I think we should have enough to see off Carlow, they had a poor league campaigne (like ourselves) but we were operating 2 divisions above Carlow and also historically we've done very well against them in the championship so that should give us the psychological edge. Now having said all that if don't treat Carlow with the same respect as we'd treat any other team then we could be in for a nasty surprise. Dub1 suggests this score: RoyalSt.Pat (Meath) - Posts: 333 - 06/06/2012 16:36:09 1188388 Link 0 |
Well thats it Ollie, Louth would have been hot favourites to beat Carlow last year and look what happened, it was a case of them having nothing to lose and under no pressure either, they'll be feeling the exact same on sunday against us so we'll have to be focused. Haven't seen to much of Harro lately, which is why I would go with O'Brien,I also agree that it is likely McAnarney will play ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 06/06/2012 19:53:37 1188542 Link 0 |
yes Ollie but I still think Meath have better players than Louth and this would be a bigger surprise than that one last year ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 06/06/2012 19:55:40 1188543 Link 0 |

We'll do well to stay within 10 pts i reckon. Sad for us but probably will come true. Can see our backs ripped apart and Meath to get at least 2 goals. The Real 1944 (Carlow) - Posts: 1114 - 06/06/2012 20:22:42 1188561 Link 0 |
Just read in the chronicle that McAnarney is new captain, bit surprised, would of expected Reilly or Bray myself! Royalroller (Meath) - Posts: 86 - 06/06/2012 20:52:07 1188581 Link 0 |
i would have thought kevin reilly was made for the job of captain bobjaffacake (Meath) - Posts: 1400 - 06/06/2012 21:12:12 1188605 Link 0 |
if big joe didn't fly away for 2 months i'd say he would have been captain. BettystownRoyal (Meath) - Posts: 3353 - 06/06/2012 21:33:17 1188629 Link 0 |
