great game all the same dublin's ultra negative tactics were exposed and forced to play a bit of ball.

Wait till you see us next year with more attacking football,

yeah i said it t you betty during the week if dublin play with attacking style they would win and was only the last 20 minutes gilroy did this he abondoned the defensive game and put 6 natural forwards in attack and we outscored them 9v2 i think its still the best way to play

we did today have 6 forwards for the last 20 minutes and outscored mayo 9v2
if we had of started like that we would have won
next year we could have the brogans, connolly, mcmanoman, kilkenny,o gara and young costello to choose from all good forwards

playing MDMC as a half forward has not worked all year, he is a midfielder. we have no shape when this happens . it could of cost us against laois and did today because mayo punished us with well taken scores.

well said hill 16 and that is the type of football you enjoyed watching dublin play for years. it's far better than having 1 man inside the 45 at times and relying on squeezing out a victory with the defense.

on the tickets yes the box seats but also the corner of hill 16 at the bottom between section B and C. Why don't they sell that spot to the public anymore? even for the all ireland final that spot is filled by stewards.

yes and its a pity he waited till we were 10 points behind to do this as we dominated that last 20 minutes and could have still won if bernard rounded the keeper and slotted home but it wasnt to be.
the hill was full i know what you are saying but that area seems to be held for stewards the people who used to be in there are now all standing on the aisles instead of in there it doesnt make sense why they have them on the aisles instead of letting them in there as surely the stewards could go somewhere else

your argument is far too simplistic hill nobody plays with 6 proper forwards anymore...it worked because mayo ran out of stream dublin had nothing to lose and mayo were defending a lead....i do agree however that dublin leave their men inside far too isolated with not enough support

it worked because dublin put mccauley centre field and played 6 forwards as actual forwards, where as for the first 50 minutes we played a non existent half forward line 3 guys who dropped into midfield leaving too far a gap between centre field and full forward it has been the case ever since the louth match,
we played four men as attackers against them two on the 40ty and two inside and rotated them throughout and created a lot of chances, after that match we went into a far too negative gameplan playing 3 midfielders and loosing all shape in the forward line, all this was doing was giving the likes of wexford and laois a better chance of staying with us.if we played the same attacking gameplan against them as we did against louth we would have won far more comfortably.
we have very good forwards we should be using them

whats the craic with the hurling finals not selling out? the bottom corner of the hill on the cusaak side had about 10 people in there and it there were a few hundred seats empty according to the attendance. i wouldn't say no to a ticket and i'm sure many others are the same.

That bit of the hill is reserved for H&S reasons and/or stewards as far as I'm aware.
