Dublin v Meath could it be between 70k - 80k? The hill is sold out, the nally tickets are now on sale and the upper canal end has gone on sale for ticket master at least. Does that mean the upper hogan and cusaak are sold out or is upper hogan the last place they sell tickets for?

Dermot Early made a comment on TV3 during Mayo v Sligo game that the Hyde pitch is bigger than Croke Park?? Is this true as it looked very narrow to me & not a whole lot of ground between the two 65's!

Bettystown, huge interest in this game. Will definitely top 60 and could be nearer 70,000. Just proves that the people will come out when a particular fixture whets the imagination and nothing does like Dubs/Meath.

There will also be a big crowd in Killarney, a full house in Carrick, and if Kildare don't fill Portlaoise then they ought take a vow of silence :-0.

The lower tier and hill 16 is long sold out. upper cusaak sold out only one or two spots in the canal left and now the hogan upper and nally stand are on sale. if i was a betting man i'd say 70k at this stage but if the sun shines expect a big walk up crowd.

Upwards of 70k latest estimations, could yet hit the 80k with the weather expected to be good.

I can't confirm or deny this, but Croke Park will always look very big on TV because the camera is up high, compared to Hyde park where it's low and will make the field look thinner

there was a thread on here a while ago about pitch sizes and i think croke park is the 5th or 6th largest playing area of all the county grounds (or national grounds)

112k at the games last weekend, around 150k this weekend. The gaa is alive and well and still the biggest sporting organisation in the country.

€15 isn't too bad in fairness, at least it was a knock out game and I don't think anyone will complain that there wasn't enough excitement.

Maybe not, but a 50% hike in a week is a fair aul jump.
