Most of us felt that would be last time we would see him on meath senior panel, many on hear and in particular on meath page said he was finished, myself included. But with the unbelievable amount of injuries we had, he was started v wicklow and what a turn around the booing from the hill didn't put him off. It really was a special year for brian. Haven't got that far lockjaw - Have a hotel for Sat and Sun night in that neck of the woods - Almost there on the ticket front. My next priority is work meetings I had arranged for the Monday and the fact that the Mrs. thinks Im only away for one night.
I got into the Grand Hotel in Malahide in 1992 via a fire exit so Im sure will improvise if the need arises ! I still have the signed Jersey from that night - Problem is it doesn't fit !!
