All Ireland Minor Hurling Championship looks wide open

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Dublin minors will improve on their first game and I expect them to give the Cats a good run but overall it's very hard to call. Dublin/Wexford Leinster final would be interesting.

ahsure.
Thanks for the sentiment, wouldnt expect you to want Wexford to win at your own expense! No point wishing Galway well in that age group because it's one they always do well in, hopefully the seniors can go further this year.
Hurlingdub, are Dublin at home or away to Kilkenny, and how good are Kilkenny do you know?

One thing which is great to see though - the amount of counties now producing good underage hurling teams. Sounds like Wexford, Waterford, Clare, Limerick and the usual suspects all now delivering good underage teams. Could 10 years time be another golden era for hurling just like the 1990's were? Lets hope so!

Tipp and Clare will contest the Munster final
hard to know about Leinster and dont know what Leinster is like

Not as straight forward as that. Munster is very wide open has been the last few years and will be this year aswell. Not much between the 4 teams left. I know you wont admit to it but Clare, Waterford and limerick have caught up to Tipp and Cork who nearly always dominated in this grade. Results over the past 4 years prove that.

Do you think so Deise boy do you think Waterford have caught up with Tipp?

Tipp 2-25
Waterford 0-12

above score kinda contradicts your theory

Mattie was saying that Galway are a stronger team than last year.. Hard to known at the moment.

I would hope to see both Galway minor and u21 teams in the Leinster championship in the near future, to see how good we really are (let's face it, we have it easy to get straight into a QF and SF in each level)

Galway minor hurlers just a little too strong for Wexford today. 4-20 to 2-11 full time score.
