Well done to laois on their victory. No reason why they shouldn't be producing high quality minor teams. Continuing bad times for offaly. hurlinspuds (Cork) - Posts: 1494 - 13/05/2012 13:55:29 1171058 Link 0 |

I suspect Limerick will win minor this year have a few gems in Barry O'Connell from ASR and 15 year old Ronan Lynch from the same school , playing a strong Clare team in Cusack Park in June and the winner of Munster will come from there I reckon . stekhli (Dublin) - Posts: 3121 - 13/05/2012 21:59:44 1171458 Link 0 |

it is pretty disgraceful that carlow won 2 matches and then lose to dublin and are knocked out where as kilkenny havent even had a game yet and they are in the semi final Kenlim (Limerick) - Posts: 864 - 14/05/2012 11:31:54 1171606 Link 0 |

Sorry to spoil your giving out but Kilkenny beat Laois by 8 points last week. KKid (Kilkenny) - Posts: 421 - 14/05/2012 11:45:01 1171618 Link 0 |
It is good to see that the minor championship is wide open in Leinster (or appears that way at least). It seems that Meath must have alse had a reasonable team as they ran Offaly very close. Given that Wexford or Laois are now playing each other in the semi-final then the winners are guaranteed at least three more games (the semi-final , the Leinster final and either an All-Ireland semi-final/quarter final) which will no doubt bring them on quite a bit. bennybunny (Cork) - Posts: 3917 - 14/05/2012 13:16:44 1171729 Link 0 |

Is it now Kilkenny V Dublin, Wexford V Laois in the Leinster semis? keeper7 (Longford) - Posts: 4088 - 14/05/2012 13:21:45 1171732 Link 0 |
Definitely Leinster wide open. I went to see the minors against Dublin and their is definitely more dogged determination and never say die than any minor team I have seen for years in Wexford. Wont get carried away as we still need more from a couple of the forwards. Pinkie (Wexford) - Posts: 4100 - 14/05/2012 13:32:58 1171752 Link 0 |
Wexford will always rise again. How many fruitless years were there before '96 ? keeper7 (Longford) - Posts: 4088 - 14/05/2012 13:46:14 1171770 Link 0 |
I'd be more worried about Offaly hurling as they haven't been strong at underage for a number of years. Well done to Laois minors though. keeper7 (Longford) - Posts: 4088 - 14/05/2012 13:48:59 1171776 Link 0 |
