Its a kinda silly point though Liam is it not? There are players on every team in the country that would get on any other team. You could say that about every player in say the top 50% of players.

what a waste of time this thread is Kerry are far from finished, would you want your county to be playing them in croke park at the business end of the season???

Breffni, you may be right, you may be right.

I see the Dublin takeover of Cavan isnt going to plan! Nesty and Val are not too popular!
Maybe Pillar will come in and finish the job!

Will ye give Kildare back their Deposit on SJ? ;)

Weighed it up in my head, and I think DC wouldn't make the Cork team. The way I look at it, if they have all their key players fit, their championship forward line should look something like this:

10. Ciaran Sheehan
11. Paddy Kelly
12. Paul Kerrigan
13. Donncha O'Connor
14. Colm O'Neill
15. Daniel Goulding

I think he would find it very difficult to dislodge one of those 6 lads in all fairness. Someone said here that WHEN he finds his consistency he'll be one of the greats. Who's to say he has the temperament to be able to find some consistency?!? I think that's a very big if to be honest. He's obviously immensely talented, but he goes AWOL come Summer time, and hasn't shown any real indication of putting two top class championship performances back to back. As always with Championship though, we'll have to wait and see...

I would agree with your selction of the six fowards Bob. If we can keep those six fit for the whole summer, then I think we will have a very good chance of playing on the 3rd sunday in september this year.

As for the title of this thread, Kerry are by no means finished. I think Jack O Connor will be very happy with their league campagin. A lot of new players got plenty of game time.

Bob, i have to say, all things considered, you may be right!
That is a serious forward line. But, if DC was on form he is definitely a better player than DOC or DG.
They are fine fine players, but on form DC is unplayable.
But until he finds consistency then I think, credit where its due, you may be right.

But as I say, if DC finds consistency, he could replace BB as Dublins best forward of my life time.

Isnt it funny BTW how the country has forgotten about BB over the spring ;)

If Bernard Brogan gets back, will he get on the team do you think Liam?
With Connolly being so outstanding, will poor Bernard get stuck with a
water-carrying role! Any comments their Liam, you being the expert on
dublin gaa! Lol.

Liam, unless one of them is jack o'connor I couldnt care less.

Also, by DG I take it you mean daniel goulding. I am genuinely lost for words if you actually believe connolly to be better than goulding.
