Is Tipps Padraic Maher the new Mick Roche?

Thurlas is just upset that Kilkenny have won more All Irelands in the last 6 years than Tipp have won in the last 50. It's not Kilkenny's fault that Tipp were not good enough to get to the final. All of their wins in the last ten years have come against Munster teams that Tipp were not able to beat. Going by the old days Tipp wouldn't of even won the 2010 all ireland because the back door didn't exist. They would of been out in the first round after been hammered by Cork.
He's also getting very excited about the league, I wouldn't pay any attention to league form, Kilkenny have only lost one championship game in 5 years.

It would seem to me if you were to win a minor county championship then you would have been born in that county

Go on so, but just so you know, I never said Dublin would beat Tipp once, you said Tipp would win and they didn't. So the bet should be if Tipp don't beat Cork then you are gone for a month. Don't beat means losing or drawing. If Tipp beat Cork then I'm gone.

Funny how you say I talk jibberish, all I'm stating is the facts of the present day. The 50's are well gone, you need to get over it. How do Tipp think Kilkenny are a soft touch these days when they can only beat them in 1 championship game every ten years, i'm sure the players don't feel the same.
Go off down to your local club and cut the grass or paint the gates, just do something useful for a while.

Generally sad to see a poster piggy-backing on the success of another county and running down another county. But this is nothing new with many offaly people, the love affair with kilkenny continues for them.

Mooncat: Well he did refer to tipp's lack of success compared to your own county in the last few decades. He could have made the exact same argument about offaly sharing the same amount of titles with tipp since 1980. No i am not thurlesblues, you're a bit paranoid there.
