The Libyan people can finally say goodbye to Gadaffi. They can also say goodbye to their natural resources and their sovereignty too. I'd say their standard of living (the highest in Africa) may also suffer. Sergeant_Slash (Cavan) - Posts: 2182 - 20/10/2011 14:41:43 1055383 Link 0 |

Question is, was he left wing or was he right wing, now who on this forum could clear that little conundrum up for me? brendtheredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 10897 - 20/10/2011 17:34:33 1055559 Link 0 |
.....and cue the massive hypocrisy from Britain, Ireland and the US on 'human rights', 'democracy' and 'the will of the people'. Like Iraq, Afghanistan and Egypt the country will divide along religious and tribal lines and Muslim fundamentalists will get stronger and stronger. The US will put in a Western puppet government that will ensure the Yanks control the oil flow in favourable terms. Right wing American oil speculators and drilling companies will take over and new billionaires will be created amongst a select Libyan and Wall Street elite. The vast majority of Libyans will get poorer and Islamic clerics and mullahs will take advantage and Christian minorities will suffer. Then the US arms bodies will encourage the American miltary to intervene so that they can make a massive profit on new weapons technology; you can write the script now. This man was responsible for numerous deaths in Northern Ireland through his support of terrorist organisations. Death was too good for him, he should have faced justice in a court of law pplocal (Tyrone) - Posts: 5878 - 20/10/2011 18:49:31 1055640 Link 0 |
He should have stood in a court........alongside numerous US administrations, British cabinets, Israeli governments, Chinese and Russian regimes who were ALL guilty of the cold blooded murders of innocents within their borders and in other countries.
