Delord this isn't just about Martin McGuinness and the Presidential debate. Before Mary McAleese sought office 14 years ago she was called a 'tribal time bomb' by Eoghan Harris and there was a campaign in the Dublin media to stop her getting elected because she was a 'Nordie' from the Nationalist community. The same newspaper group castigated John Hume and gave him vitriol for trying to bring the Provos to the Peace table. During the last election Michael Martin said to Gerry Adams "How dare you come down here.....to this state" when he was seeking election to the Dail. Dana has been subjected to a lot of vitriol too about her background so there is undoubtedly a pattern here. I recently heard a story about a few Belfast Gaels who, after the All Ireland, were given dogs abuse in a late night take away in Dublin and told to "f**k off back to the Black North". Of course they didn't and the ones who mouthed it, let's say, came off second best.
This seems to be happening more and more in the 26 counties where it seems to be quare sport altogether to abuse people from the North, write any old pile of sh**e about them and chortle away about it. There is also historical revisionism and downright lies being peddled about this island's history in the South; there is a complete and total denial that Britain and Unionists were responsible for an apartheid, gerrymandered sectarian statelet in the North, that Catholics were discriminated against, denied housing, votes and basic human rights and when they stood up and demanded them THEY were murdered by Britain, it's Intelligence Agencies and Loyalist satellites. NO instead the Nordie Catholics brought it all on themselves, the Provos appeared out of nowhere and started it all, the poor Unionists were blameless and Britain was an honest broker. The sight of David Cameron today condemning Libya for arming the Provos WHILE in the same week he denied the family of Pat Finucane an independent inquiry into their father's murder by British Agents was disgusting. I didn't read too many editorials, articles or worked up politicains and broadcasters in the South this week condemning Britain for covering up British State Murder of Northern Catholics.....and you wonder why we get angry up here?

Galling you don't know where I work or what I do.... or maybe you do, nothing surprises me on here or who some of the posters operate for. If Britain paid EVERY Northern Nationalist a million quid it still wouldn't be enough to compensate for their dirty little statelet and murderous campaigns against the Catholic community.
