Pats weakest in years. I suppose these things happen, when you think of it strongest minor clubs are not around Navan with Ashbourne, Dunboyne, Ratoath Na Fianna and Kells all better than Navan Clubs this year.
Senior Schools A Quarter Finals Draw

Dundalk v Knockbeg
Coliste Eoin v Mullingar or Portarlington
Moate v Peters
Edenderry v Athlone CS

2 Good semis on Cards Dundalk, Eoins, Edenderry and Moate who will beat Peters.

Only 6 of the Pats starting 15 actually play for Navan clubs and anyway Simonstown won the Division 1 Minor league which is more than any of the teams you mentioned there..Why did you even say Kells? Were they not Division 4 or 5 at minor? Maybe you should get your facts right before you start saying that was the weakest Pats team in years because when you look at it they had the talent, it just didn't go right for them on the day, which is football, it doesn't make them the weakest Pats team in years though

No impression made on League beaten at 1st time of asking in Championship not what we expect in Meath. So I say weakest in years.
Neither midfielders would even be played midfield at minor level for their clubs and a couple of U-16s among there best players. So I say their weakest in years.

You say what you like.

This is 2012 forget about Minor last year look at results at U-17 and look forward to results at Club minor in 2012 and we will see who has their facts right.

Pats had a great team this year!! 6 or 7 of the starters are in with the meath minors so u cant say there weak and another one or two of there forwards should be too!!! the pitch made them have to play at a lower standard cause they couldnt play there nice football !!!

Glenny is a 100% correct. Pats Navan have high standards, if you don't win then you are a nobody and it doesn't matter what players you have or didn't have.

In many ways thats why Pats they have had success over the last few years, players played with a fear of being inferior to those that have won all-irelands in the last few years. Its good pressure to have.

Well done to the Pats juvenile team who this afternoon hammered St. Declans CBS by all of 21 points,7-16 to 3-7 in the Leinster decider. With the juniors also strolling through their competition the signs are good for more succes at senior level in the near future.

Its interesting that you said the likes of ratoath and kells are stronger than the navan clubs in minor .. seeing as simonstown bet ratoath and o'mahoneys bet kells comfortably.
