Can't see them progressing too far. Some good footballers like dardis, mcntee and orin fitspatrick but them players won't b able to carry the whole team. Are they playing DCU in a challenge this week ?? 054 (Meath) - Posts: 3 - 19/10/2011 20:32:20 1055024 Link 0 |
id say its going to be a tight tussle between the two burlinghams for keeper deblaca (Meath) - Posts: 14 - 20/10/2011 11:51:55 1055225 Link 0 |

it was only a friendly but it would be a strong older team the DCU would be fielding deblaca (Meath) - Posts: 14 - 20/10/2011 19:47:57 1055706 Link 0 |
They lost by 3 points but DCU would be stronger and older so they need not to worry.. From what i heard the pats keeper, Robbie Burlingham, was replaced by his brother, Evan, who apparently had a stormer of a game in goals when he came on.. If this is so you would have to consider that Evan may replace him as meath minor keeper as well.. Either way the future looks bright for the Burlingham clann! baba_purple (Meath) - Posts: 13 - 20/10/2011 21:03:32 1055767 Link 0 |
Wel i heard they lost by 6 points but it hav been way more only for to sloppy goals they got and some poor converting rate of chances from DCU. And wats all this about the keepers - obbie played the full match i was told from my soures. Btw the two teams would have been the same ages really - minor this year. 054 (Meath) - Posts: 3 - 21/10/2011 12:54:09 1056021 Link 0 |
There's no age limit to freshers football. You just have to be starting 1st year in College for the first time. Many colleges would have 2/3 mature students (23 plus) playing freshers. Especially in today's climate with many unemployed entering education rath_togh (Meath) - Posts: 740 - 21/10/2011 13:04:13 1056030 Link 0 |
age limit on freshers football is 24 and 34 on sigerson football. 2/3 mature students on freshers teams???? dont make me laugh big_for_minor (Meath) - Posts: 18 - 22/10/2011 18:56:29 1056832 Link 0 |

I think the age requirement in freshers football is that you have to be under 21 on the 1st of september of that year. CastleBravo (Meath) - Posts: 1686 - 22/10/2011 20:27:52 1056926 Link 0 |
Pats lost to Colemans of Newry yesterday RMullen99 (Meath) - Posts: 16 - 27/10/2011 10:52:03 1059330 Link 0 |
Pats lost to colemans of newry by 3 points yesterday and this was after they emptied the bench playing alot of weaker players near the end . colemans had a strong team out with last years midfielder starting at midfield. things are shaping up nicely for this pats team they have a very strong defence northsidegael (Meath) - Posts: 108 - 27/10/2011 16:10:56 1059565 Link 0 |
