Forget the M50,....the N4!!!

Still have the bad memories of beautiful Lucan village being clogged up by 2 headed monsters from the west passing through!!!

I'd say thats the right way to go, jaysus don't come within a few miles of Croker - with a car!! The clampers will see this as a cash cow and milk it for what its worth.

I've a genius idea on how not to get clamped.

Don't park where you're not allowed to.

In a lot of cases it's true, deal with it. Its nothing got to do with who did or didn't post before me. I'd certainly know my way around Dublin better than the likes of snuff who lives way out in Lucan with his mammy.

In fairness Breff, I'm sure Snuff learned a bit about Dublin city when he was up here in college. He knows how to walk from the bus to Trinity and back again!!!

There's nothing worse than people who wish they lived in Dublin but actually live way out in the sticks in far flung places like Lucan ;)

we have more then likely had more supporters at the semi final against donegal then ye had in the last 10 years coming to croker.
get off your high horse with your inferior behaviour towards dublin people,i know my way to any part of ireland so get your facts right bud,the traffic going to thurles was mayhem as was 40 thousand dubs heading that way and also was a bank holiday weekend

Did I touch a nerve there hillman? I think you'll find it was light hearted response to your fellow countyman's light hearted slagging of us countryfolk. Did I ever say we had more people attending croker than you? I just said we make as many appearances. Afterall this is pretty much a home game for voth teams.

By the way, did ye nit knw it was a Bank holiday before you all set off an hour late?

____________

It will need to be a decent one - BB must have one hell of a fuel tank on that Helicopter if it can fly from Auckland to Croke Park - It must look like a space shuttle

I left Drumcondra that day myself and arrived in Thurles on time. I know what happened. Yes there was traffic leaving Dublin but no one thoght that they might not be the only ones heading down. I've met similar if not worse traffic coming up to many a croke park match at monasterevin, kildare, mountrath down through the years too.

1034350 park in ikea- then get the bus down from there, its simple and your right on the M50, thats what i would advice people to do. personally i just fly to games, the sooner croker gets a helipad the better, close the nally stand/ terrace part and put in a helipad, that would benefit people alot more i think
________
Even if it had a Helipad - You wouldn't be able to land in Croker without landing at the airport first as you are too close to the flight path - But I'm sure you already know that.

You can land in the freight yards in the Docks - just opposite the O2 - and for €50 you can get an S500 to collect you to Croker - Half price for yourself seeing as you only own half the chopper.

Do you have to leave sharpish after the game or is there somewhere in Westport that you can legally land a Chopper after Dusk ?

-------------------------

Wrong- you do not hand to land at the airport, no point going into that with you as you know nothing about aviation. Stick to eating raw turnips and anti football- something ye know plenty about!

I mean do you purposefully make things up as you go along of does it come naturally to you- what next you invested the helichopter :D the bitterness knows no bounds, i am disliked as i am simply better than you, ah bless the poor peasant, bless!!

Sure get off the N7 at Rathcoole and head over to Tallaght. Park there in the square and they will look after your car for ye :-) Then you can take the Luas at the terminus. It will be jam packed by the time it gets to the Red Cow.

hey i know everything, my middle name is google :)

it would be some dinner for a fiver in ikea, hot dog, chips and a drink in Ikea €2- i love the ikea model of business, they donmt pay ego wages, and even for the irish store they are trying to renew the employment contracts through an agency in poland to reduce wages further- I love the place! i have kitted all my rental properties through ikea, before dublin i used to have a truck rented and brinng it back from england.

The problem with your spoofing on here is that you don't even bother to check that your stories make sense
I used to take a Helicopter to Dublin/Cork twice a week - back when times were good - Though I will admit that The Helicopter wasn't mine and since times got tough its no longer in use and i no longer have access to it or most of the other nonsense that went with the Celtic Tiger years-
If you fly annywhere north of the Canal you have to land at the airport - By land I mean fly in on a flight path hover for about 10 seconds and then exit on a flight path - This didn't always happen as it depends on how strict air traffic control was - But it probably happended about 70% of the time - Approaching Dublin from the west and landing in the docklands - so if you went anywhere near croke park you would be flying closer to the airport than I used to and much more likley to have to follow that instruction

The second flaw in your argument is that you are not allowed take off in a helicopter if your journey completes more than 30 minutes after sunset unless your journey concludes on an properly lit approved and controlled Air strip. I appreciate that Mayo is much more advanced that the rest of the country in this respect but I would be surprised if you had such a facility on top of your fictional pub in Mayo.

Now jog on back to your Walter Mitty life and your finctional trip to the World cup - and your first class flights on airlines that stopped doing first class flights five years ago.
Jealousy is a strange accusation to throw about - as clearly your own life is that sad or you are that insecure that you have to make up claptrap to pretend you are better than people you don't even know - Ain't jealousy if you weren't so obnoxious I'd nearly fell sorry for you.
