You are right about there being liitle interest in gaa in Bangor etc, I was just saying. St Pauls being close to my heart as I played very badly for them about 15 years ago, before I moved into exile in Derry hurling country.

Ballinamallard has a Catholic population of 3.4% it's little wonder there is no GAA team there. Kesh is where Rangers' 'striker', Kyle Lafferty is from isn't it?? It's Catholic population is 15.8% again no GAA team.

Clondalkindub, there used be a GAA Club years ago very near Fagans Pub. If you step out the door of Fagan's near the bridge there is an inscription on an old bridge declaring it as the former entrance to the grounds. Mispent time in Pat's College!!

Dundonald Newtownards Bangor Comber Donaghadee Dromore Ballygowan Killyleagh Moira Saintfield Waringstown Annahilt Ballywalter Drumbeg
Greyabbey Helen's Bay Millisle Portavogie and East Belfast. None of these places in Co. Down have any GAA teams though folk play for other clubs. Down has the 3rd biggest population in Ireland( 492,840)after Dublin and Antrim yet only 45 to 50 clubs. The North East of the county is a GAA wasteland with at least 200,000 people and no club at all.

The village of Ballywilliam in Wexford has no real GAA club. It has a good few people living there, but for a village with 2 pubs and one shop, its split into 4- Rathgarogue/Cushinstown has the south and east of the village, Rathnure the north and St. Mullins the west. Less than a mile to the east is the Rathgarogue border with Cloughbawn. The pubs any weekend have the interesting situation of having loads of guys who even went to primary school together all playing for different clubs drinking together.

Raphoe has no gaa club, people play for Convoy or Lifford. Kilmacrennan has no club I presume they go to Termon. Two other town with no clubs are Rathmelton and Rathmullan, Fanad would be closest but its a fair aul trip. St. Johnston & Carrigans had a team once but i'd say the come to Newton now as would manorcunningham.
