The next game I play I'm gonna continually jab my marker in the jaw. Not too hard, just enough so that its a bit sore and annoying. I figure that if he hits me back he will get sent off and if he goes down holding his face he will get a red card too for being so unsporting. Either way its win win for me because no way should I get sent off for it benjyyy (Donegal) - Posts: 1428 - 31/08/2011 14:40:14 1023955 Link 0 |
omaghredhand you deduce a lot of things, first of all the dublin posters are well able to look after themselves without my so called "immediate jump" to their defence,my opinion was an objective one and felt you were patronising in the extreme but by god, the nastiness and bitterness i can deduce from your reposte is seeping out through you. you considered not responding to my post but really couldnt help it . truelly pathetic . jack o connor wasnt far wrong about ye. looking forward to you not responding. mlcollins (Kerry) - Posts: 440 - 31/08/2011 14:52:53 1023969 Link 0 |
Just speakn the truth which is what posters from other counties on here seem to have a problem doin when it comes to Dublin....Connolly has an impeccable record on the field of play and if ye watch the video reply the facts are there to be seein..if that was Paul Galvin or the likes of the O'Ses Ive no doubt the decision would be overturned, if Connolly hit out a malicious tackle Id be first to admit it but its sooo obvious that it was far from that , I dont like any player being targeted or being accused in the wrong. Isent it some coincidence that hes our BEST player this year.... Mollymalone (Dublin) - Posts: 1137 - 31/08/2011 15:17:35 1024005 Link 0 |
Yea I am a Dub, but saying the Dublin players ahve one set of rules etc is funny. Its the same rules for all playing fellas. If this was a cork player, Frank Murphy would be all over it. People are being side tracked by what the Donegal player(s) did before and after, personally I couldnt care. You fight your own corner for your own players! Did Connolly deserve to walk? YOU BET YOUR LIFE HE DID! But as with many GAA rules, the loopholes are there to be used, its up to the GAA to close them, they wont. glenquagmire (Dublin) - Posts: 20 - 31/08/2011 15:18:46 1024009 Link 0 |

@delboy You're lucky its not like that anymore or you would have only scored about 4 points benjyyy (Donegal) - Posts: 1428 - 31/08/2011 16:38:27 1024107 Link 0 |
think it was 1 of those incidents where the ref was always going to be wrong. Tommo1 (Laois) - Posts: 113 - 31/08/2011 21:14:21 1024356 Link 0 |

Beacaire Gorm, you have put it in a nutshell, spot on.....really who from any country wants the "Donegals" of this world in the championship any year with such UNSPORTING behaviour.....not to mention their so-called style of play.....any more teams playn like them and we'd be left devoid of supporters.... unbeleivable dublin posters talking about unsporting behaviour ? take a look at your own team and those soccer followers in the hill and other areas of croke park on match days . come on kerry and do us all a favour and hammer the dirty dubs/jakeens . appleboy (Armagh) - Posts: 479 - 01/09/2011 11:42:33 1024549 Link 0 |
Lads in fairness the game is well over now so look forward to the final. But before i go il just say that you cant lift your hand so the red should stand even though boyle made a meal out of it but dont say if it was the other way around the dublin player would not have lay down!! letterkennyGuy (Donegal) - Posts: 168 - 01/09/2011 11:45:41 1024553 Link 0 |
hope connellys red card stands , he walked and a few others were losing their composure . PRESSURE does that to an overhyped team . kerry is the kingdom . appleboy (Armagh) - Posts: 479 - 01/09/2011 12:00:15 1024570 Link 0 |
