I was bang on with my prediction, said all week Tyrone would win by 10 - 15. Anyone who knows anything about football knew Tyrone would have far too much for the Rossies, they simply couldn't cope with one of the top teams in Ireland. Dublin next in what is basically a semi-final, the winner will far too much for Donegal pplocal (Tyrone) - Posts: 5878 - 31/07/2011 13:36:42 999442 Link 0 |

Yes Tyrone were too good and congratulations to Tyrone they deserved to win but 11 points was not a fair reflection. We bossed the first half and cleaned Tyrone in midfield. Shine Skinned McMahon on numerous occassions. When Harte brought on Dooher and mulligan ye started to pull away but we got it back again to 2 points with 10 mins to go. Then ye went 5 ahead. I would have said 5 points would have been fair but then 2 poxy goals and I mean poxy in every sense of the word. First from a bad pass and then a roscommon player was clearly fouled before Cavanaghs 3rd. A deserved win but 11 points was not a fair reflection so enuf with ur rubbish pplocal and give us a little credit. We had so many chances if we had taken half of them we would have been within touching distance in the end. I wouldnt mind playing ye again in 2-3 years time! No doubt Roscommon are the up and coming team at the moment with one of the best underage structures in the country. I do hope Tyrone beat dublin and if ye play like ye did in the 3rd quarter for a whole 70 minutes ye have every chance. Rosfan (Roscommon) - Posts: 778 - 31/07/2011 14:54:03 999538 Link 0 |

PPlocal if you were at the game you would have saw that it was not as easy as the scoreline suggests. Gormley and Joe McMahon were gettin absolutely roasted in the first half although Gormley made an excellant block in the first half when Shine got round him and shot for goal. Cant understand why Kyle Coney was took off at half time but I agree with taking Tommy McGuigan off. Don't feel he has done enough for a place next week. Mark Donnelly getting stronger with every game and thankfully he got through his first game in Croke Park and ready for the Dubs next week. Good to see Stephen O'Neill back again even though it was for a minute, a big boast for next weeks game. I thought Hub covered alot of ground yesterday. tir_eoghain_abu (Tyrone) - Posts: 773 - 31/07/2011 14:54:11 999540 Link 0 |

pplocal you are talking rubbish if you think donegal hav'nt a chance against dublin.nothing will prepare dublin for this type of football that donegal play whereas tyrone know about it already.as regards dublin and tyrone the brogans will destroy tyrone if their backs play as bad as that first half again. toe2hand (Galway) - Posts: 223 - 31/07/2011 16:50:18 999665 Link 0 |
