"I boo at games i also sing and chant." " the way i see it so long as they dont spit, throw objects or fight with opposing fans i cant see the problem its all in good humour. Thats me finished with it every set of fans has there 100's or 1000's that do it so what get on with the game these boys shouldnt be on the pitch if theyre not prepared to face hill 16 at some stage in there career whats so different about hill in clones?"
So when did putting on a county jersey become a career? From reading your post i gleaned you are a sunshine Dub supporter at best. You only go to Croke park for the atmosphere on the the hill where you can engage in your soccer chants. Also i think your first love is the Premiership, your post was littered with soccer terminology
Agreed! I just think its part of the atmopshere, Im for croker this weekend definitely Antrim on saturday then fermanagh on sunday i'll well be in my element. Should be a good weekend anyway. I hoping to get down with the armagh fans at some point in the year id like it to be fermanagh come september but if they dont make it i'll support any of the other ulster counties.
Fair Shoulder
Lad you obviously dont read my other posts nor nothing i do support a soccer team but there not spl or premiership. I also tend to go to matches to enjoy the football or hurling but why not take part in the atmosphere? Ive been in the middle of the rebels supporting waterford on hill 16 in 2006 and had some craic they were chanting rebels while i was chanting deise. I always support the Ulster team and after that i always support the under dog. Ive never set foot in England Scotland or Wales so i havent exactly been involve in massive soccer crowds before to get in on the hooliganism that they get themselves involved in something i am totally opposed to. As ive said i go to as many games as possible all year round (when im not playing hurling i dont play any other sports either) i go to NFL, NHL, Sam Maguire, Tommy Murphy, Nicky Rackard, Christy Ring, Club Junior, intermediate and senior games just what ever one will make for good competetiveness with the passion of any gaa game if it includes the atmosphere i prefer then so be it. I think the should put an end to your thoughts of me being a 60 inch waste skin head with a harp 12 pack at matches well hopefully anyway.

this is to niamh doire iam a fermanagh supporter scocer is more popular game in derry than it is in fermanagh just vist the brandywell to see how some people behave people in class houses shouldn't throw stones. ~~~
Now, I am not a soccer supporter I am a Gaelic supporter so that should nullify your post there. I also then said that Booing is a soccer trait, so you are reinforcing my point if nothing else. Also, seemingly you have been in the Brandywell to know this, well chap you've been there once more than me.
Also, Fermanagh wind your neck in would you, No one on here is galad Fermanagh were beaten, 90% of the people on here were supporting them to their first ever Championship silverware, so don't just come on here with your 4 posts with out reading the forum first to see what people actually think, and don't even consider comparing us to Unionists.
I feel I have read enough of this thread to register and post to keep fermanaghs name from being tarnished. Firstly I'd like to ask some of you to calm down because this 'disgraceful' behaviour is not the end of the world is it? Is it not good that a bit more atmosphere is introduced to the game, it is not just soccer were booing goes on either. I feel that anything like chanting singing and booing is all part of the atmosphere and makes it all the more exciting. I have not heard any Armagh players come out and cry about it so why should the supporters especially those whose county it doesn't even concern! I was watching the Tyrone game on tv and there was plenty of boos at that game which were mainly aimed at the referee and I am not singling out Tyrone and West Meath it just happened to be the only other game I seen this weekend.
Although my opinion is that booing is part of the game and atmosphere, I can understand how it can get to other people because of it being related to 'soccer'. As i can understand, this I would still not clasify it in the 'disgraceful' category this, I think is very harsh! I have been to enough games to see far worse behaviour than a few kids or whoever booing at someone taking a free. A couple of years back I was at Clones to see Armagh and Fermanagh in the ulster semi finals, and they had a minutes silence. There were a crowd of Armagh guys in their early 20's shouting up the provos and laughing at each other, and it happened to be an Armagh man whome the minute silence was for. Now I don't know the guys history but this to me was very disrespectful and be placed in the 'disgraceful' category before any playful booing.
I am only singling out this incident as it's the first that comes back to me it's nothing against Armagh supporters who like every county the majority are 100%.
