GAA attitude to other sports people

loads of schools ban rugby and soccer and you never hear anythintg about it but when as school bans gaa the gaa crowd call foul. this says it all really that the gaa is living in a time warp when they genuinely think that they have some devine right to preferwential treatment- is it any wonder that the gaa is in crisis, numbers playing are falling, numbers attending are falling, numbers watching on tv are falling, sponsorship money is down- but in good old fashioned pig ignorant gaa style they wont even admit that the entire organisation is in deep crisis

How did you know that they were from a council estate? Did you ask them?

What post code do they have?

Liathroidboy is a rugby fan with a pure hatred for all things Gaa and his hatred is spewed out on this forum. It strikes me that his energy wasted on this crusade would be better used if he ploughed that wasted energy into his own sport. Perhaps our friends in the IRFU have spurned his advances as they don't need ignorance of that magnitude in their organisation.

Its not very hard to tell the difference between a kid from a private estate and a kid from a council estate in south dublin my friend. Firstly theres the accent, secondly theres the soccer jersey or hoody as opposed to the polo shirt, and thirdly upper class area kids dont loiter around college football pitches.

You can always pick out the actions of individuals who have a bit of power in a GAA club as a means to attack the GAA. There is no point harping on about the ban on foreign games, the ban on membership of GAA by the British Forces. These were brought in because of the histrorical situation and went way past their sell by date. The problems in the North certainly delayed their removal.
But for every act of abuse towards other games by some GAA heads you will find similar actions from gobshites in soccer, rugby etc. All sports are competing for the best players and regulalry a good GAA player will also be a good soccer or rugby player.
At the end of the day it is the players choice and anyone who wants to bully him/her should be put in their place i.e not in charge

Wembley as a commercial venture would have let the world tiddlywinks c'ships in so that is completely missing the point.

As it the rest of the 'knockers' posting are classic hurlers ond the ditch who love to have a go at something successful.

No matter what the GAA does, there'll be a whinge and a moan and it'll be labelled 'a disgrace'.

How boring, nothing to see here, move on and enjoy the weekend's action !!!

Stunning analysis.

Where do upper class children loiter?

Do upper class children not support English soccer clubs?
