These figures are from various polls because most people realise voting for Nationalist parties doesn't necessarily mean you want re-unification, in the same way there's probably a small number of people who voted for Unionist parties but may want re-unification. If you honestly think that it's as simple as saying if you vote SDLP you'd vote Yes you are very much mistaken. Feel free to provide your own figures though Goodfella

Pomeroy we've had this debate before and to be honest I couldnt be bothered with wasting my time going over old ground. Any points you have made are simply based on your opinion and not necessarily facts. That's fair enough but I dont expect i'll change your opinion given you appear to hold such firmly entrenched views.

It is bemusing however that you feel a 'small' number of people who voted for Unionist parties may want re-unification whilst in contrast you feel as many as 40% of people who voted for Nationalist parties would actually prefer to stay in the Union. That simply isnt credible.

Have you looked at the state of the Republic? People realise re-unification would result in massive job losses, putting food on the table is more important than being united to most. It doesn't make them any less Irish
