Think this thread has gotten a bit sidetracked over the last few days because we're forgetting whats most important = life itself. Now I don't want to sound like some blitzed hippy (I've done that enough in my teens) but a few jokes while on tasteless side, don't matter a damn to the thousands of poor people who are now dead and he millions who've been seriously affected by this devastating tsunami.

So I think people should just try and let those jokes slide because they will die out eventually and we should focus more on what we can do to help........however small that may be.

Now by the way, I'm not having a go at anybody in particular and I'm not trying to smugly gain any moral high here because I take many things for granted as much as the next guy, basically all I'm trying to say is count your blessings and ignore the trivial stuff.

Fair point.

Is the best place to donate, the Red Cross? Would money sent there be best spent on aiding those who have suffered in the Quake & Tsunami?

Brend,

I don't advise anyone to donate or not donate. Everyone can make up their own mind on that. I was just answering the question that was asked.

Fair question, I would just like to donate to an organisation where as much money will be spent on the relief effort as possible. To be fair, Japan has not been requestiong aid that much.

In that case slayer, I think only the red cross would fulfil that criteria.
