I am thinking here about the Shankhill butchers.

These brave men defended Christianity against the heretics from Rome., sacrificed all against the heathen hoards who sought to change western civilisation as we know it.

Surely the time has come to honour these defenders of the faith, with shrines and memorials in Kilkenny, Tyrone, and maybe Mayo?

Secondly, I personally resent your ridiculous argument. I've defended the rights of Christians to defend themselves against Islamic aggression, and I still defend that right. I've no interest in what Muslim countries do, I don't want any more invasions of Middle Eastern countries by US-led forces. But I also don't want large-scale Muslim immigration into my own country. Every country has a right to decide who gets let in, and I, as a citizen of the Irish Republic, have a right to voice my objection to the Islamisation of my country and continent.

Anyway, what would a Communist man of no country like you know about any of these matters? Go away and fly your red flag some place else.

I'm well aware of the threat.

You consider all Muslims as the same, that's 1.5 billion people. You consider them to all be mad terrorists hell bent of the destruction of Western society. That simply is not true.

Its the same attitude applied by the powerful imperialists throughout history and it didn't work out for them. The best way to defeat Islamic fundamentalists is with the help of our (the West's) MUSLIM allies.

You're attitude of 'all Muslims are the exact same' only helps the extremists.

That is EXACTLY what the Shankhill Butchers claimed to be doing. Protecting people from Bloody Friday, Le Mon hotel, mad suicide bombers who were willing to blast away anyone who stood in their way.

What I want is a truce ta. No invasions of Muslim countries by the US or other Christian countries. No large scale immigration from Muslim countries to Christian countries. Peaceful co-existence between the Islamic world and the Christian world. To us our religion, to them theirs. Good neighbours all round.

It's unlikely to happen though. Firstly, gutless politicians like Cameron and others can give all the speeches they want about 'multiculturalism', but the fact is that Islam is the problem, not Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism or anything else. But they'll never say that, and so mass immigration will continue. Also, birth rates in Christian, or sadly post-Christian countries are so low that they will continue to decline, surviving only because of the inflow of Muslim immigration. And so the vicious cycle will continue.

I'm not optimistic about the future of what used to be called Christendom, at least the European portion of it. Secularism and Islam are taking an awful toll, and Europe will die a death because of it.
