I'd say they are only on local stations, It will probibaly be a Newry station and Coalisland will be on Mid106.

Try shannonside/northern sound

They are live on Radio Ulster (BBC) as ALWAYS.

Wonderful coverage given to the games these days.

So if you are on the computer, go to BBC News, N.Ireland, Sport, and there you go.

Can Glenties go all the way? Would love to see it. Cross haven't exactly pulled up any trees, but you know they'll be ready for the final.

Crossmaglen were very lucky to win that game in the end.Johhny Hanratty had a great game. The Cross management team took him off and put Big Francie in his place. Danny O Callaghan had a great game and so did Tony Kernan. Ref was fair and it was not a dirty game.

If teams let Cross get a strong start they usually get into their stride very quickly, get scores on the board and then dictate the match at their pace. St. Galls made the mistake of standing off Cross and got punished badly for it; in fact Cross had bullied and cowed them so completely that Galls were a broken side long before the end. Glenties need to get stuck into them from the off and not let themselves be physically intimidated. Good Luck.

Ulsterman,

I agree with you. Glenties are a very good team but they need to hit Cross with everything from the start and not let them get into their stride. Cross should not underestimate them either or they are in for a shock !!

Much as im delighted for Glenties to taste a bitta glory , I would like to see Cross get back to the AI stage and get a crack at Dr. Crokes . That would make for a great aul final. The Gooch against McConville. Great quality ,and worth the trip down on St.Patrick's day.

Are you surprised wise guy! This is typical of the attitude displayed towards our national games. These games were among the biggest sports news stories of the day.

They were indeed. I was in a bar in Singapore and the people all said "who wants to watch the climax of the formula one, or international golf tournaments, or international tennis, or professional football, soccer, grid iron and the rest, how are Cross doing?"

Apart from that an amateur club game of Gaelic football is hardly newsworthy.

Can ye imagine if they had Carninny Rangers V Randalstown True Blues from theBallymena Saturday league on the TV? Or even say Qiueen's Park Rangers (richest club in the world) V Leeds United. No interest to justify the license fee.

So I suggest you get on your computer, and discover that THERE IS A WHOLE WORLD OUT THERE. De Valera and dancing at the crossroads are dead.

The link at the top? Just about right from the BBC news.

GET OF YOUR KNEES!!!!!!!!!!!!! MOPEs (Most oppressed people ever).

Tom1916. Not a bit!

This is not a dig at anyone, but apart from that duck with the beer can in Dungannon, BBC and UTV don't stray far from Antrim and Down for stories. Therefore, Burren v Cross got alot of coverage (and deservedly so) but hardly a word on Glenties v The Island.

But they will show you every scrappy shambles of a goal from the Irish league!

BBC.... what a joke......cant even pronounce Ballybofey ( Bally Bo Fay ) Bally boofey on BBC) and GLENTEES instead of Glenties, sure Islandmagee Rangers v Rathfearn Old Boys gets more coverage than our Gaelic Games.

Yeah, but they can pronounce Morocco, ( the country of the Camels) who left Norn Iron with the "humps" during the week, and one Sat morn on my way to Dublin for a GAA Weekend had to endure an interview with the Menager of the Linfield U.13 team playing in Coleraine that day, no doubt part of The Norn Iron Menagers conveyor belt he talks about, Nigeel Worthlesston........ BBC and N.I. soccer are a joke...... but BBC prop them up.
