782819 The protester was one PUP (Protestant Unionist Party) member. He then involved a few other bigots.

So it was more than 1 person then.

Ulster Unionist politician made the statement to the bbc not me on there website from in i only put up the statement as i done with the tesco statement they also have it on the news pages not me , truth is there in black in white not my fault .

surely you dont believe any of that stuuf you read in the papers!

He doesn't have to believe any of the stuff he reads in the papers, both adrian watson and tesco issued statements, these statements were in the tv, radio and print media and you can get them from public records if you want.

Its a tad confusing at this stage. An eminent Tyrone poster stated on another thread that anything we might read on the Indo or see or hear on RTE was dubious and therefore an opinion based on that information was not Valid. Can anyone furnish a list of Media organs that are classed as valid in matters relating to Northern Ireland.

dhorse.
yes dhorse go and meet the families of victims of loyalist death squads , and meet people who for years were living in fear of these squads backed up by the british regiments notably the scots who done their dirty little deeds on the ground antanosing local nationalists taunting them on recent scores loyalists racked up.

hence the saying D FROM THE D HORSES MOUTH .

You made the following contribution earlier, now tell me who the 2 adults were then climbing a ladder, one wearing a Glentoran top

Ah, they could have been Catholic Loyalists as many, many, many, Catholics support the Glens, especially since their glory days undert ex Celtic man John Colrane was it?

I was in Tesco on the day, a witness, but never mind what happened.

It is the MESSAGE it sends.

Some bigots think it means "nothing has changed".

However the reality is that EVERYTHING has changed.

50 years ago a crowd of kids being chased out of a store while collecting for the GAA would NOT HAVE MADE THE NEWS.

Indeed, they would not have been allowed into the store in the first place.

And that is the massive change that has occured in the North of Ireland, a change opposed by the like of dissident republicans and loyalists.

Adrian Watson made his statement in SUPPORT of the club because in 2008 or whenever it was, it is not acceptable to discriminate against GAA kids. I doubt i he was motivated by love of the GAA, it is just that in this day and age sectarian bigotry is NEWS.

It was not always that way.

Dissidents will not acknowledge this as they seem to prefer Catholics and Nationalists being treated as second class citizens and oppose any progress to address that.

At least now where gettting the point now it was more than one person that complained and no point saying other wise , dhorse you should seriously read posts before making comment as i stated tesco has no reason to lie nothing to gain from it , now what part of that you do not get and the soldiers have something to hide.

Any chance the loyalists in question could come down here after the next election and help with poster removal?

Here we go again back to the lies, about 28,000 people in Antrim did not support the GAA on this matter. That is a lie, no poll was taken in Antrim on this matter and indeed if it was I'm sure 100% did not participate. Tom Crillys statement was true, they wore green and black and their jerseys are green and black.

Patrique, you have regularly been posting on this thread and yet you have still not been able to reply to a very simple question about the claim you made in relation to a headline in the Irish News ? Does your silence provide confirmation that you were caught trotting out an urban myth ? Over to you.

Now apart from being a liar, a bigot, and possibly a PUP councillor as I now suspect it is you who complained about the kids in the shop, you are also COLOUR BLIND.

Those jerseys look distinctly WHITE and green to me.

And soon I shall be in Crossmaglen to watch St Galls when I shall seek you out to seek redress to your lies.

I will be the one in the St Comgall's Jersey.

White, and green.

Patrique, we can probably keep this going for a while yet. You have posted almost 9,700 times on this forum, most recently within the last hour. and you are as entitled to your opinions as anyone else. However, if you cannot respond to a straightforward query about an alleged Irish News headline which you have quoted twice in the course of this thread to support your arguments, your credibility is on the line. You say that the headline was `Army ran over Catholic dog.' Did you read this yourself or can you give any idea about the date on which it might have appeared ? If you now think it may have been an urban myth, simply say so. If you cannot reply, how are we supposed to believe anything else you may claim ?

I could quote you some more from said newspaper, such as ALL sickness, including cancer, in the public service is malingering.

But The "catholic" dog. It was on the Stewartstown Road in andersonstown, circa 1973?

The standard of reporting has regressed since. All you need tpo do is look at the GAA coverage.

Thanks, Patrique, we may be getting somewhere at last. You suggested that the Irish News report of the flags episode in Carryduff last week was unreliable due to an alleged headline, which you now accept, after repeated challenges, may or may not have appeared some 37 years ago. You do not say if you ever personally saw the headline in question from 1973, which casts your account into further doubt.

It is also very hard to discern any possible link between the Carryduff case and past coverage of absenteeism in the public sector, but let's try anyway. Are you claiming that the Irish News stated as a fact that all sickness in the public service, including cancer, is malingering ? If this really happened, surely legal action would have followed ? Is it possible that you are throwing in one red herring after another, rather than simply agreeing that a nasty little incident actually did take place in Carryduff last week ?

Patrique you lead a BLINKERED life lad and to be honest I think you're a wum, because of the ridiculousness of MOST of what you post, and that you're ALSO the poster known as Pomeroy Plunkett
PRETENDING that everything is all rosey in the occupied six and that things have changed and that people can run about Antrim in GAA tops with their Rangers/loyalist supporting friends really is NAIVE and also very DANGEROUS.

The Tescos incident, the flag incident and the burning of GAA halls actually happened, you might not want to believe but you should.
All protestants arent bad but to deny that there is VERY LITTLE hatred for all things Irish, including the GAA, is well, simply put, WRONG.

Also capitalising, what you believe, to be key words doesnt make you right
