are you noticing a worrying trend, where people are putting a random set of words down hoping that a point will then ensue?

tom being the prime example

then this guy makes a good enough joke about missing the point and the olympics, but feels compelled to repeat it ad naseum.

are people forgetting to check their mushrooms for toxins again?

Yu mean what here on?

That type of thing? Worrying. I blame the parents.

A thousand apologies.

I direct you to the newspaper library (mind you, you already said you know the info is not there....a clairvoyant???) when there is an easier way.

Big William from work, a good Dungannon Rugby lad, was so upset by the article that he penned a motion for the union's annual conference, calling for a boycott of the paper.

the motion was ruled out of order and placed in category x. Sometime a round 2007 I think.

Much easier and less time consuminmg to get the information there. Just look at the Conference Agendas for a few years, in Category X.

Sorry about that.

To follow on from this - did anyone watch BBC ni news tonight- once again their coverage of local sport was poor - especially GAA - we had a fairly substancial report on linfield v glentoran, the commonwealth games , the ryder cup -both of which have not started yet -- however no footage of either the Co. football final or hurling final in Antrim - or co s-finals in armagh

Noticed that alright and the gaa should get more coverage than these other sports or equal , also the antrim/mayo man now is starting the insults because he is losing the argument .

RTE didn't give the result of Pollard versus Raharney yesterday evening but decided to show some fancy Dans playing so-called 'Golf'.

Awhhh,

and to listen to patrique slabbering on making out the north was a utopia to live in you'd swear everyone was great friends!!!

.....as I said on the other thread, all they have done up north is stopped killing each other!!!!

Stop trying to fool people with the sham cross community sports photoshoots and stormont hurling farce!!

The headline of this thread is more like the reality!.........and everyone knows it!

Unionists object to sale of NIE to Irish Republic's ESBUnionist leaders have written to the Irish government objecting to the Republic's main electricity supplier buying Northern Ireland Electricity.

The DUP's Peter Robinson and the Ulster Unionist's Sir Reg Empey said the £1bn deal has major political implications.

The UUP's Tom Elliott said the sale posed problems because the ESB is owned by the Irish government.

But the SDLP said the deal was a good one and should be free from political interference.

political issues again from the dup.
