Congratulations Tipp, one of the best games I ever saw and my voice is hoarse from roaring at the tv. Makes you proud to be Irish.

That's a stupid question. The best team won and Tipp are blessed to have players of that quality. Could Kilkenny have won 4 in a row without Shefflin and Walsh?

765643 No pitch invasion was a disaster.

Just on this point, I think it says a bit about the poster and his county when all he can muster after such a great game is "No pitch invasion was a disaster".

Would it have been fair on the Kilkenny hurlers for them to be pushed and shoved around by jubilant Tipp supporters?

This game must rank among the best ever in hurling.

What a match to watch, even for me who is not normally interested in hurling at all.

Well done Tipp.

765703 After watching the final and the celebrations afterwards I must say it doesn't compare to the scenes after the last few finals. The lap of honour is pointless as most tipp fans had gone. I feel sorry for Tipp that their last 2 all-ireland wins have been nothing compared to the finals since 2001 to 2009. This invasion thing is about money and nothing else. Hopefully the Down/Cork fans make there way on to show the GAA what they denied from Tipp.

Bit of an anti climax without the ordered disorder of the invasion of the pitch...but thats the way things are to be from now on.

I think its the way ahead was more like the Champions League final presentation , Safety first, as long as the team that wins do a lap of honour which Tipp did I think Pitch invasion's are a thing of the past.

In soccer there has been no people allowed on the pitch after a game and the team and supporters still can celebrate.

It was dirty action by Kilkeeny throwing a hurly stick in the goal-mouth. was delighted to see Tipp outclassed the yellow and black cats.

765668 Cork got carried away with the "5 in a row" impossible target and Tipp stay with the game in hand and proved themselves to be the best in the country.

That's right, blame us for everything!
