You really must have nothing to do only just winding fellas up on this. To be honest i hope ye do beat KK but i cant see it happening my man. Their just 2 good at the moment. Also Cork would of beaten Tipp Under 21s if Ciaran sheehan and Aidan Walsh where left play.Unfortunately they werent and i guess thats the way it goes. Best of luck anyway on sunday. You better be prepared to take some slagging on this if Tipp lose both finals :) thurlesblues (Tipperary) - Posts: 4475 - 01/09/2010 09:29:08 762119 Link 0 |

even if the u21 final was fixed last may, how difficult would it have been to have set aside provisions for a scenario like the one that has just occurred. dlegendcooney (Galway) - Posts: 263 - 01/09/2010 09:54:14 762146 Link 0 |

show me where anyone says its Tipps fault thurles. Its the GAA's fault, as someone says there should have been a provision for a switch should a scenario like this unfold. abhainn (Galway) - Posts: 1000 - 01/09/2010 12:09:23 762284 Link 0 |

Galway could not have objected to Semple Stadium as a venue for the U-21 Final until after they had qualified. Likewise, it would not be known that Tipperary would be in the Final until after the semi-final. I also cannot remember it ever been publicised last May that the Final would be in Thurles. Frankly, I have never heard of a county getting home advantage in an All-Ireland Final (that is outside of Croke Park, and Dublin don't train there). 147sportsman (Galway) - Posts: 44 - 01/09/2010 13:42:26 762391 Link 0 |

It has happened before Sportman, Tipp. u21s played the final against the Cats (and were duly slaughtered) in Kilkenny in 04.The Cats have played Tipp in Thurles a couple of times in finals, but then it isn't a 2 and a half hour drive to Thurles from KK.Bottom line is it should be played in a neutral venue convienent to both Counties unless one of the Counties involved is happy to conceed home advantage. barnowl - tipp and kk have an arrangement for home/away ties when they meet. Galway and Tipp don't, making this a disgrace! abhainn (Galway) - Posts: 1000 - 01/09/2010 14:18:28 762458 Link 0 |

They should have left the U-21 final in Croke Park, its a sad state of affairs when a Camogie Junior final takes precedence over the U-21 final. Most people do not care about camogie, all you ever hear at these games is loads of screaming kids who were obviously let in for nothing, put the U-21 final back in Croker where it belongs. gilly0512 (Galway) - Posts: 1176 - 01/09/2010 16:36:39 762673 Link 0 |

As a Tipp fan I think it's odd that we should get to play a National final in our own backyard. I can understand why Galway fans would be frustrated. roundball (Tipperary) - Posts: 2514 - 01/09/2010 18:13:04 762813 Link 0 |

I was just making a point about Sheehan and Walsh. They where huge losses but thats the way it goes. Obviously your 10 year old brain aint able to dilute a valuable point. rebeltrev (Cork) - Posts: 344 - 01/09/2010 19:59:44 762890 Link 0 |
