Dodgy linesmen and umpires

We have 3 men that will always volunteer for umpires.
Had one of them stand in front of the keeper and wouldnt let the keeper kick it out one match, he's a big fella who can handle himself so the keeper was helpless.

747513 MesAmis, that is a classic story. Brilliant.

There was actually another story involving ourselves and the same team again a couple of years later. The ball was loose over by the sideline and our wing back pulled on the ball and connected brilliantly. He was about 5 yards from the sideline and the ball flew and struck a young one on the sideline in the shoulder. She fell to the ground obviously hurt. It was of course a complete accident but their full back, I think he must've been the girls fella, took exception and legged it up the pitch and went for our lad!! A bit of a schemozzle broke out with a good few slaps been giving and taken, me and the other goalie were the only two not to get involved! The rest of the game was fairly tense and their crowd was really up for it and very intimidating, the was a group of them behind my goal, throwing insults about what they were about to do after and everytime I went to get the ball for a puck out there was a bit of shouldering etc.

We were down by two going into injury time and I remember thinking that I wouldn't mind losing as it would mean we'd get out the place alive! However our corner forward had other ideas when he caught a ball and turned to stick it in the net!! Luckily one of our selectors had seen what was coming and had gone with the subs and gotten all our bags from the dressers so when the whistle went we just legged it!!!
