How exactly is it funny? Would you say bringing a whistle into the ground to put players off is funny? All I done was highlight the disgraceful behaviour of SOME Dublin fans on the hill. Typical deluded Dublin fan you are NavyNBlue.. NavyNBlue (Dublin) - Posts: 1357 - 03/08/2010 20:02:01 734776 Link 0 |
Ah thurlesblues! Glad to see you back :-) No, still think the Cats will do it but can see it being another great final. Might have a few bob on our 21 hurlers though to beat you lot in the final ;-) hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 03/08/2010 20:09:39 734786 Link 0 |

No, you're right jimin10. We should take this seriously because this is a huge threat to our games. Making noises to put players off or distract players is a very serious issue (I can tell from your last post that you were using your big voice with the way you highlighted my last post). Well of course Dublin invented boohing and whistling. Why, I can remember as a child listening to Brian Mullins being loudly boohed - not to mention having cans and fruit thrown at him - from the Hogan Stand and Dermot Early being boohed and whistled as he scored the equalising point against Du..., oh hold on it was Armagh! And yes, it was the saintly Kerry folk who were boohing and pelting poor Brian. And my Da tells me about when Dubs played Galway in Ballinasloe or Tuam in the 60s and the Dubs were pelted with sods of turf and stones. Of course they could all have been Dublin 'casuals' pretending to be from other counties in order to destroy their good name :-) hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 04/08/2010 09:56:14 735050 Link 0 |

some devilish fiend does a Caractacus Potts and invents something like the Toot Sweet. Not only can people smuggle them in as sweets, they can blow into them making a whistle sound during the game and then consume them leaving no trace of the evidence!!! jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20763 - 04/08/2010 11:33:05 735240 Link 0 |
