Ah get over it lads. That happens everywhere. Ya shouldnt stop playing till ya hear the whistle a few times. Dont think this is the reason for Tyrone losing

Apologies to the true dubs - the 10,000 odd that go to games after a defeat. Should not tar everyone with the same brush

actually the best team didn't win. tyrone 16 wides says it all. but fair play dublin, i was gonna start this thread as it annoyed me watching it on tv but then you will just get all the dubs posters replying with their typical sour grape comments and so on.

All white, I never said I could see any one with a whistle because obviously this person was mingled with the others ..but it was clear that it was coming from the hill. By good luck I actually have combined faculties of sight and hearing by which I can conclude that no-one took the whistle from this person. Also the stewards are marked with yellow bibs, (a health and safety feature employed by the GAA at most grounds a number of years ago so that they can become clearly visible to patrons) and I was looking straight down the pitch towards them.

WaynoI how could I possibly be having a pop at the dubs? Read the opening post of the thread carefully. It amazes me how many people such as yourself can't read properly.

mullins the dubs blowing their whistles didn't do it when dublin were on the attack but when tyrone were with the intention of cheating tyrone which they managed to do.

Typical old crap from a frustrated Donegal fan. You're out and get over it! Who's to say it wasn't a Down or a Kerry whistle on Sat?? It's the 15 v 15 that play the game and not the fans. Go back to your own page anyway!

Its funny how the whistle only blew when Tyrone were shooting into the hill, and when Tyrone had the ball in the Dublin half and on attack. Didn't here this whistle in the second at all.

Obviously wasn't the reason for Tyrone losing, but it was very off putting and uncalled for.

Correct donaldo. Whistle was blown only when a Tyrone player was in possession of the ball.

Typical behaviour like but he shouldn have stopped anyway, its our own fault we lost ye have to expect that kind of stuff when playing dublin but we should have been fit to go down like before and beat them well but it didnt happen!

Still devastated hope this starts to wear off soon!

I was at the game & I expected the colour & noise from the hill. It does bring a special atmosphere which is to be welcomed, but some of the booing of free-takers & the whistle episode were very un-sporting.

I know every county has a few idiots & I admit some Down supporters booed Moran as he hit Kerry's pen, but I find it in bad taste. All players should be shown respect to allow him to play the game. In a game in Newry earlier this year a young fella whistled (not with a whistle) as guy hit a free, several supporters around him told him to pack it in. We all need to take responsibility for our games.
On a similar note I was in the Canal End with my children on saturday. The language of several Tyrone & Dublin fans was bad! It is called a family area so should be family friendly, not for these yahoos drinking pints & roaring & shouting abuse.

the tyrone players are way too experienced to let a muppet with a whistle put them off and wouldnt dream of using it as an excuse for losing @donaldo i will not debate cheating with you because being from meath you are a far superior expert on the subject

hilarious thread from bitter culchies

Tyrone denied a certain goal as well as being put off for the one that hit the woodwork...

this seemed to b ea premeditated attempt to disrupt Tyrone's play. Fact.

great stuff lads keep it up

This even happens at club games with a few hundred people. Penrose and co. should have been experienced enough not to fall for it.

Could not believe it when I heard the whistle blow and Penrose stopped although this was terrible behaviour lets not forget what Bernard Brogan did against Meath the ref blew his whistle but he still popped the ball in the back of the net for safe measure penrose should of kept going, if it was disallowed because the whistle already went it was disallowed they would of moved on but that was very off putting I can only imagine.
