Who will win Sam now?

Apparently Mickey Harte has called for Croke Park to be covered with a4 sheets in the interest of fairness to the Provincial winners.

question to all kildare posters....why are ye getting into stupid arguments with some of the wum's in here...we are in an all ireland semi final and going in as massive underdogs,we can fly below the radar for the next few weeks with no one givig us a chance..suits us fine..as for me,well i'm going to enjoy the next few weeks, the flag is outside the house and the towns and cars are starting to be decked out in the colours,fantastic..enjoy!!

Well we're hardly huge underdogs against Down. And I try not to engage with them but when a tyrone man says wouldn't it be funny if Kildare won sam, well i just cant contain myself.

There is too much emphasis on Cork winning outright in the scenario that has emerged in this year's All Ireland Championship.

I think people have short memories and should reflect on the fact that only a week ago it was thought it could be Kerry or Tyrone's year to lift the Sam. But that didn't come to pass. Maybe, many of you haven't learned that predictions don't always materialise as expected.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it will be a Dublin v Kildare All Ireland final and that would be a difficult one to predict the outcome of.

To all those posters who seem to believe Kildare haven't a chance, I would cautiously advise them not to rule them out.

Who are you Kildare people trying to fool; portraying yourselves as "huge underdogs."

Genuine Down fans are under no illusions as to size of the task facing us in the sem-final. If where being honest, we beat a very ordinary Kerry outfit in the quarters that allowed the Down players too much time and space. Kildare on the otherhand will not afford us such luxaries.

Kildare will be very difficult to beat, much more so than Kerry...

Looks as if Croke HQ are expecting the Dubs to be in the final when they are going to fence of Hill 16.
Will it be a Dublin v Down final then?

anyone who says kildare are huge underdogs are very deluded..i think kildare should be slight favourites for the game....but i couldn't make a prediction on the final score of the game though.our game well thats a different matter on what i think the outcome will be :-/ ha ha

I'd be a small bit surprised if any of the teams remaining had enough for Kildare.

kildare are seriously fit and look a lot fitter than any of the teams left. .the competition for places is fierce in the kildare squad watch them training a while ago and i was blown away by what i seen.. they have 2 or 3 lads for every position most of them can play in 3 or 4 positions so if they do win the All-Ireland its not jus 15 lads its the hole panel.. its a 25 man game now..

Why does this clown not come back on here and explain why it would be funny.
Kildare are in the semi final on merit, they have won all their games comfortably, ok we were beating by Louth in the first round of the leinster championship and yet that day we scored 1-16, its just people didnt give Louth the credit they deserved.
Kildare are putting up big scores in all their games and we have played good teams.

Up4it seems like a bitter man who looks down on teams that have not been succesful in recent years, but I tell you something, at this moment in time I would not swap any of the Kildare players for a Tyrone player.

Very few Cork comments here? As far as favourites between Down & Kildare I believe there is very little between them. Similar route to the semis with momentum being gained under the radar. It will be very close with the usual bit of luck or referees decision making the difference. By the way when will the refs be named? Also, will the Hill be shared? this usually isnt the case for semis/finals

Cork will win it. sure we are concentrating on the football this year. Anyone know how to change a username? I'd like to change mine to PROC_Footballer as I have more interest in the football.
