Richie

We're going for our 6th Leinster title in a row for heaven sake.... Meath haven't even contested a final since 2001… put that on your jersey beside your stars

You're not in our League man... literally…!!

But on a serious note I have huge respect for Meath man... I'm lucky to call a few Maeth supporters my good friends!

In your 'league'? Please elaborate on this one. I have no idea what your on about...only league I can think of is the chockers league??

Your respect is noted and appreciated Jimbo, but remember dominance is not everlasting you would not have heard too many Meath people saying the Dubs under Gerry McCaul and Paddy Cullen weren't in our league between 86 and 91 when we won 5 out fo 6 leinster titles or from '96 to '01 when we won 4 out of 4 meetings with the Dubs and even though we were favourites in most of those games we still had huge apprehension about facing Dublin because we knew what they were capable of. I fully acknowledge Dublin going for 6 in a row which is a remarkable achievement but that is tempered by the overall standard in Leinster and Dublin's subsequent performances outside of Leinster. Meath may not have as good a team or squad now as in the periods I mention above but I don'e believe Dublin have either and on the day it would be a brave man who would wager the wife's lingerie budget on either team.

To all the Meath lads...

Just be happy that you have guys like me and the other Dub posters on this forum...

We're keeping the tradition alive and well of good healthy wind ups and banter.. long may it continue!

The fact remains lads that Dublin have the far richer tradition in Gaelic Games in both codes at all levels lads... you Meath lads are transfixed with this senior titles lark... for heaven sake we were crowned All Ireland chmapions the other night,

How about trying to catch up rather than clinging onto excuses... You know you are slightly jealous of the Dubs,

Up the Dubs and Up Meath

You'll never have such dominance again though Richie... that's a thing of the past man.

Our Minors are strong and hey check out our U21's.. the future i bright and the future is Blue lads.

Please before comparing yourselves to the Dubs how about even reaching a Leinster Final.. it's coming up to ten years!

At least we were contesting Leinster Finals between 86-91!! Dont forget that... unfortuantely we didint have the luxury of the back door that Meath has so happily taken advantage of!

Without it you would have played about 10 Championship games in the last 10 years! Dont forget that..... Back door beauties!

Then the question has to be asked... I agree with everything you say here... so here's the question

Admin is not time to take some action against posters like this? Adds nothing whatsoever to the site besides stalking Dublin posters around and posting disgusting videos with the only purpose of causing trouble. Like whats the fecking point of sticking around here when there's guys like this on the forum...?

I'd just like to know does Jimbob do anything else with his time other than spend all day typing out posts on the Hoganstand.

Well said Hurlingdub, this topic is now more akin to a primary school yard.

Jaysus man I think we're just having a bit pre Championship banter.... There's sod all else going on at the minute on the forum, I've tried to start off a bit of debate on the Non GAA forum and I see a hurling topic I started got a bit of a bump, if you want to contribute go ahead

I mean we're doing no harm here...

There is nobody i don't think going to tar all Meath fans because of this incident.I won't anyway.

What has to be said though that there is most certainly an element of undesirables within their support. It's all very well saying " ah ya get that in every county", where there is an element of truth in that, there are certain counties worse than others.

Last year Mayo/Meath game, i don't care what anybody says, i witnessed with my own two eyes the most vulgar behaviour by Meath men in their 50s too, bladdered and in the face to teenagers shaking their fists, it was horrid and very dangerous if someone had of reacted to them. I'm no angel at games so it takes a fair bit for me to notice. There was nearly an incident after in phill ryans too, very in your face i found them and not at all traditional GAA supporters, again though i have to stress this is obviously a small minority but a larger minority than most . Their ripping down of a Dublin flag also was very distasteful.

Dont care in the slightest mate - what you do with your time is your own business. I'm just amazed at how you seem to be on the Hoganstand every minute of the day. But as you say nothing wrong with a bit of banter.....

id say it was non-GAA supporting Dubs. as for the mayo lads having a go at meath, get over last year, get over 1996 and get over all your other bitter losses. the law of averages says you have to win sam sometime but then again it is mayo!!! by the time you win the all ireland sam will have probably long retired and have been replaced by jim or mick.....
