It also came as no surprise to me that the person who threw the wooden spoon in McHale park was a Meath man. Some shocking relevations. paddyogall (Mayo) - Posts: 5110 - 05/05/2010 14:21:50 638362 Link 0 |
Whoever did it was a toe rag and doubt he was involved with Meath GAA, unfortunately its the minority that ruin it for the majority , summerhillof69 (Meath) - Posts: 228 - 05/05/2010 14:22:13 638363 Link 0 |

You have to admire the Greeks, at least they have fight in their blood. Save your stones for the Dail, not. Unfortunetely the irish are too afraid to fight. AfricanGael (UK) - Posts: 1947 - 05/05/2010 14:33:57 638388 Link 0 |

It's one thing attacking a bus but it is another thing attacking players. Lets not forget the "Dublin fans" who attacked 2 Meath players leaving them in hospital before the start of the championship last year. Maestro (Meath) - Posts: 586 - 05/05/2010 14:46:01 638417 Link 0 |

If Dublin had of lost the game the meath supporters would have thrown flowers at the bus and the Dubliners would have thrown the stones. Legan4life (Longford) - Posts: 209 - 05/05/2010 14:46:27 638421 Link 0 |
I was waiting since yesterday for this thread to pop up, at the end of the day it happened and while yeah it is dreadful there's no proof that the person responsible was even fron Meath. I'm not saying they weren't but we don't know. They're no true GAA supporter anyway and you can't tar everybody with the same brush. itsgreenandgold (Meath) - Posts: 312 - 05/05/2010 14:49:23 638432 Link 0 |

Is this a common thing with Meath GAA fans? ? ConnollyDub (Dublin) - Posts: 2007 - 05/05/2010 15:16:17 638494 Link 0 |
Whats even more shocking is that it turns out the lads causing trouble at the Dundalk Shamrock rovers game were actually from Meath. They say when it rains it pours. paddyogall (Mayo) - Posts: 5110 - 05/05/2010 15:18:58 638503 Link 0 |

Ah yeah, these challenges don't mean much though. I heard Smith had a good game alright, maybe Barry Cahill and Conal Keaney will see the light now Breffni40 (Cavan) - Posts: 12291 - 05/05/2010 16:05:31 638591 Link 0 |

It was a disgrace. I don't know much about it or who did it but it shouldn't be happening. Royal_Girl2k9 (Meath) - Posts: 2107 - 05/05/2010 16:36:55 638658 Link 0 |
