Meath "fans" attack Dublin team bus

It also came as no surprise to me that the person who threw the wooden spoon in McHale park was a Meath man. Some shocking relevations.

Whoever did it was a toe rag and doubt he was involved with Meath GAA, unfortunately its the minority that ruin it for the majority ,
in saying that i was rooting for Donegal to win but bad form on what happened no matter how much we hate the dubs

638238 Im sure if it happened to a meath team going through Dublin they would be a lot more comments on it.
It is a disgrace that it happened and there is an bad element creeping into gaa games and that cannot be good for the Gaa

Declan,
It could have been any bus, it just happened to have a few footballers on it, that doesnt mean its a gaa attack. Take off the blinkers.

I dont know Jinxie... sounds like you might have borrowed them yourself. Very sure indeed when you have as much proof as anyone else has.

You have to admire the Greeks, at least they have fight in their blood. Save your stones for the Dail, not. Unfortunetely the irish are too afraid to fight.

And what "proof" are you referring to?

Sounds more like a shamrock rovers supporter really.....

It's one thing attacking a bus but it is another thing attacking players. Lets not forget the "Dublin fans" who attacked 2 Meath players leaving them in hospital before the start of the championship last year.

This is a new low... one that I never thought possible in the GAA,

What so doing it to Cavan people was bad, but this....?

Anyway according to the Hertild some of the players chased and caught the young fella and turns out he was from Finglas and didn't know it was the dubs on the bus.

If Dublin had of lost the game the meath supporters would have thrown flowers at the bus and the Dubliners would have thrown the stones.

I was waiting since yesterday for this thread to pop up, at the end of the day it happened and while yeah it is dreadful there's no proof that the person responsible was even fron Meath. I'm not saying they weren't but we don't know. They're no true GAA supporter anyway and you can't tar everybody with the same brush.

I knew it.... feckin Northsiders! They should all be rounded up and placed in a D4 camp, in the hope that some of the Southside air might correct their battered burger eating, stone throwing ways!

Whats even more shocking is that it turns out the lads causing trouble at the Dundalk Shamrock rovers game were actually from Meath. They say when it rains it pours.

Ah yeah, these challenges don't mean much though. I heard Smith had a good game alright, maybe Barry Cahill and Conal Keaney will see the light now

It was a disgrace. I don't know much about it or who did it but it shouldn't be happening.
