No one is interested in this Sam.

They would rather send posts about the coverage given to schools rugby.

Good Luck to Violet Hill.

Blu, he did not ask any question, he just made a derogatory comment ( as usual), and I replied to it.

Think a St Malachys St Colmans double would look very tasty. St Colmans prob bigger favs than St Malachys. St Colmans have a super team and would be very suprised if they lost.

Violet Hill, for those associated with the McRory from 1940s, is the name generally applied by real; GAA aficionados to St Colman's. Must true Gaels know that.

I made the point because last weekend St Kieran's won the Croke Cup for the 217th time and no-one on these threads mentioned it. Yours is the FIRST post on the Hogan.

We have had three threads on coverage of the schools rugby in that time.

Hence my post.

When I was involved in the Hogan in 1971 there was plenty of room.

Good luck to both teams. St mals have a great record recently. Hopefully an indicator to the high standard of emerging footballers in Down.

the behaviour of a MAJORITY of the St.Coleman's fans in Croke Park today was an absolute disgrace! throwing flairs on the pitch, throwing flairs at stewards and gardai, throwing rubbish at them and the general amount of drunk & disorderly behaviour was a disgust. they had no intention of being there to watch a GAA match,al they wanted to do was cause trouble and abuse Paul Galvin (they spent more of the match, as well as the build up, chanting derogatory remarks about Galvin than watchin the football).

WHat should have been a great day for St. Coleman's has turned into a day that the school should be ashamed of as they were let down by their students (mostly past-pupils to be fair)

Well done St Colmans, very good result for Down football. 8 scores from the Kerry side in 60 minutes was very poor but you can only beat what was put in front of ye.

SwinfordMayo is obviously bitter and has'nt the sportsmanship to recognise the achievements of a substantially better team. There I am sure were some elements within the Down support which were over aggressive as would any team with Paul Galvin at the helm have on the opposing side as well. That the Majority of fans were misbehaving, grannies, mothers, toddlers etc. illustrates the lies he tells and the depth of his bitterness. I'm afraid success always bring people like this out of the woodwork. He could'nt bring himself to make a single comment on the football iteslf, typical of his kind. Enjoy your success. Decency prevails and sport has won.
