will d/a or h/h be good enough to compete in senior next year or will it be a case of trying to survive ? what are opinions on this hurlinganalyst (Limerick) - Posts: 243 - 11/10/2010 16:09:53 794348 Link 0 |
Realman08- 42 scores is a hell of a lot of scores for a game dominated by backs dingo1 (Limerick) - Posts: 281 - 11/10/2010 16:14:25 794351 Link 0 |

i wud totally disagree and i feel there will be no problm with either d/a or h/h surviving at senior.any of the 2 will fancy their chances against at least half the senior teams. hectork (Limerick) - Posts: 1049 - 11/10/2010 20:00:20 794588 Link 0 |
senior hurling is about being fit and hungry and athlacca know from experience how hard it is to stay up, they wont be caught out agiain. also tought james kelleher was brilliant at midfield, surely worth a trial go with limerick, only lacking a bit of aggressiveness forwardswanted (Limerick) - Posts: 43 - 11/10/2010 20:30:39 794623 Link 0 |
It will be a very tight game on Saturday in Bruff. The fine weather leading up to the game will make it a bit more solid underfoot and will probably make for a better match. Atlacca could easily have lost the game last weekend but they'll be battlehardened from winning a tight game, especially as it was a replay. Difficult for H/H not having a championship game in a few weeks were as Atlacca will have had 2. ( + the Kellehers, Paul Neenan and the O'learys played the county senior final too) Still by all accounts declan o'grady has H/H absolutely flying in training, if they can bring the same hunger and intensity they hit Ballybrown with they just might shade it. Heres hoping for a great final saortheas (Limerick) - Posts: 47 - 12/10/2010 16:46:13 795144 Link 0 |
U obviously weren't at the game.any1 that was saw both backs dominate from start to finish. Realman08 (Limerick) - Posts: 43 - 13/10/2010 17:24:23 795800 Link 0 |

what do lads think about the final at the weekend?? should be a cracker...hopefully the weather will stay dry and it wont become a mud fight. just noticed today on milford website that HH have already played in Bruff 3 times this year while D/A havent played there at all. D/A had 80mins of tough championship hurling last saturday while HH havent played in a month...will this make HH rusty from high intensity matches or will they be fresher?? will D/A be tired or will the match stand to them it seems like there is pros and cons for both teams! heard 2 of HH main players getting casts removed this week after broken hands, does anyone know if they will chance these players or if D/A has any injury concerns after last weekend. i htink HH will shade it but it might take more than 1 match to decide it!! brightspark (Limerick) - Posts: 25 - 14/10/2010 21:28:04 796957 Link 0 |
I fancy Hospital to nick this one,a great season so far, especially with their win over Ballybrown.Dromin have a never say die attitude and will fancy their chances, should be a cracker. eastgael (Limerick) - Posts: 629 - 15/10/2010 08:24:57 797004 Link 0 |
Tough 1 to call.last weeks match will stand to D/A.Not palying to their best all year but still winning games which is the sign of a good team.H/H are a fine young team and are very mobile(playing football at a high standard has stood to their fitness) not a great in the full back line but very balanced everywhere else in the field. If i had to call it i would give D/A my vote because the recent matches will stand to them and are a bit more experianced. All in all i think this game is going to be a cracker.A great year for Hurling in the South, Both finalists in senior from the south, same in intermediate, effin favs in junior a and bruff and D/a in semis of junior b. gud1stouch (Limerick) - Posts: 57 - 15/10/2010 10:51:32 797093 Link 0 |
i wud give a hesitant vote to h/h,probably on the basis of their semi win ovr ballybrown.i think h/h have 1 of the bettr forwards in lmerck in donie reale and he mite prove to be the difference.i,m xpecting a real tough battle with nothing spared.referee mite earn his hour in this one. hectork (Limerick) - Posts: 1049 - 15/10/2010 11:14:30 797112 Link 0 |

Congrats to H/H on their victory. They showed a lot of guts to win that game so fair play to them, I thought the game was over for them with 10 minutes to go. saortheas (Limerick) - Posts: 47 - 17/10/2010 20:46:25 798286 Link 0 |
