123fedup your wrong, The player I know you were on about was entitled to play, not eligable to play u21 do which kinda sums up the state of the gaa these days.
It would have been a pity if he wasnt eligable to play because he is a class act!

Let me guess, a small narrow minded man!!

What people forget is that NCW is a town, hurling competes' with many other sports including Soccer & Rugby. Small close net rural parishes have a closer bunch of supporters to follow their teams and less other distractions to compete with.

People outside NCW , generally in West limerick have at attitude that all NCW players are townies ect. It makes me laugh really that as club can be branded a bunch of Townies even though 40% of the players are from rural areas of NCW.

Lads come one and get real, there are many tough teams in Limerick so don't be trying to single out NCW as an easy target. As a club its run fantastically well. NCW have the best pitch in Limerick, top class facilities and are building good teams in both hurling and football. Future looks bright, that can't be said about many other clubs in West Limerick in fairness!!!!!!!!!!

westoutcast calling H/H fans mountain men outta fr ted.you must have been at a different match than the one i was at.ncw were a scandal.the amount of dirty strokes beat all out.at least when we play ballybrown watever the result it will be a tough but fair game of hurling

I think its fair to say NCW have played tougher games perhapes against tougher teams who havnt complained. Lads its hurling your goin to get belts! Stop taking offence because yer beloved Damien Reale got a belt...it happens!

And reguarding yer game against BB ye seem to think they will be somewhat soft touches... i can guarentee you they will play a similiar brand of tough hurling.

Ballybrown to win by 12points with Alan O'Connor to csore at least 2goals. Id be worried about yer full back line lads if a 50% James Kelly did what he did...imagine what a top class expierienced full forward like Alan O'Conner could do!

i don,t know why people are writing h/h off.they pushed b/b all the wat last year and i,m pretty sure they,ll do the same again.b/b look to have the better team but h/h have some great individuals.if b/b don,t concede frees they will win.i wud give my vote to b/b by 4 or 5 pints.what are peoples views on the other semi?i know d/a are favorites but can glenroe put a halt to their run?

i agree alan o connor is not sheflin but then how many are?he is probably best forward in intrmediate c/ship and playing in front of goal he is lethal.he wud hold his own with most club forwards in limerick and is also pretty accurate frm frees.this makes him a player most clubs wud love to have.he is also the main reason b/b have been so good in last 2 yrs.

ballybrown favourites alright, lots of people reckon the only threat to them will come from athlacca but watch out for hospital, they have a strong representation on the emmetts team that gave knockainey a beating yesterday, also they won last years u21b county without really breaking sweat......if ballybrown take their eye off the ball there could be an upset in store!

b/brown will need to be very careful.h/h pushed them all the way last year.i believe damien reale is abroad at the moment, however he is due back but his prep aration may not be good, also i hear they haved pickd up a few injuries which cud make a huge difference.b/brown have been flying so one wud have to fancy them to come through.

hard to look past ballybrown with the brand of hurling they play. managed to catch one of their recent games and they look very good. strong contingent of their 21s team from last year playing with stephen foster standing out at midfield, was easily one of ballybrowns best players on the occasions i saw them. although athlacca have to be just as strong favourites with them having the backbone of the emmets team and very stong players such as james kelleher... id go for a both of these teams the weekend with 3 or 4 pts to spare

relegated again, was under the impression that 6 of them were involved...of course donovan would have been invovled as well if not for injury! maybe they didnt all tog off....of course athlacca have a far stronger representation!

anyway i agree with you, ballybrown are overwhelming favourites but hospital will be no walkover for sure!

forecast for saturday is showery and windy so could be a dog eat dog affair.

Who would that favour, ballybrown or hospital??

Dont think O Donovan is such a huge loss. Saw him on a number of ocasions this year for emmets and H/H and think his hurling as gone way back.Dont know about the weather suiting H/H as B/B are a big team but if it dose go down to the wire I would like to see how B/B react as they have won most matches by a handy score all year.
As for the match on Sunday it is nearly impossible to call. Both teams well repesented on the Emmets team.D/A not playing well all year but still wining games and Glenroe keeping very quite. The fact that a few lads are playing with Bally also might hender them a small bit.

I admit that b,brown and d athlacca are favourites but there was only 2 points between HH and b,brown last year. Glenroe are always a tough team to get over. There is room for one upset this weekend.
