Another United --Barcelona final?

' hopefully the villians can get on the move'

No chance, we were so poor on Saturday it was unreal. For all the good he has done us O'Neill is very stubborn, persists with the same old players week in week out. Heskey is a donkey and Cuellar is a superb centre-back but absolutely woeful at right-back. Think City are favourites for 4th or Liverpool will snatch it

Yes arsenal will win the league but they don't have any English [players.

Theo Walcott, Sol Campbell.

I hope you are playing at being stupid?

I know Rio is useless but even so.....Campbell.

And Walcott? Is that the bloke who once scored for England in a game?

Forget about him as well.

Yes but City can beat Fulham, Chelsea, and most other sides that humble United. They have also lost the least number of games.

It is theirs to throw away.

Very bad taste with the murderers bit patrique. It is both factually inaccurate and in poor humour.

I would hope so, but it was Sir Alex who had the idea, not me.

Maybe he has got United fans tagged correctly.

Patrique...City have won less than half their games....they are horribly inconsistant......... UTD have won more than 2/3...

Liverpool have had a terrible season given the high standerds and points total points they achieved last season

Utd will contest the League again and in my opinion have been the best team this year. They are the form team at the moment and can put their rivals to bed.

Liverpools bad form has seen the big 4 replaced by a big 3.This leaves 5 or 6 teams are left to scrap it out for the last spot...so enjoy your scrap but city are no sho...ins.

Spurs and Villa will run ye close..

maybe not the form team but like the boookies i think they look the most likely to win the league...arsenal are vunerable away from home and I think they will get caught out....in saying that, thought they were way overpriced at 7/1 a couple of weeks back to win the league

No he didnt patrique, you embellished the fact to suit urself. What ferguson is saying is he would rather have people who have experience in the sport in the positions of running the sport. If you went out to buy a tv in the morning and had no experience in the field who would you want advice from. The guy who has built tv's all his life or the son of the owner of the shop? Straight answer please

Tough draw all round.Bayern, typically resilient German team will be difficult to overcome.United will need an Away goal.A score draw or better in Munich would be greast result.
Lyon/Bordeaux will be about as 50/50 as you get.Bordeaux topped the group ahead of Bayern and Juve finished 3rd in this group.
Lyon knocked out Real Madrid.
Inter/Cska will be closer than people think.Cska knocked out Sevilla who were many peoples dark horses for a long run in the CL.
Barcelona should be able account for Arsenal, who are playing really well at the moment in the league.
I do not expect this to be the end-to-end wonderfully open, beautiful passing and exciting game that people expect.Au contraire. The Gunners will look to keep it tight in the first leg,I would expect Barca to cut loose in the return leg.God help the Gunners if Sol Campbell is required for these games.
I see Messi only scored a hat-trick again at the weekend.Useless.If he was any good he would score 4.Like Ole Gunnar Sloskjaer did.Or 5 like Andrew Cole did.I often wonder how would he do in a Junior b game on a windy teusday nite in February? Now that would be a real test of charachter!

Now I know posters keep telling me that history and tradition do not matter but United have still only recovered once from a first leg deficit, and still only once triumphed against Bayern.

At the end of the day, fergie has a poor record against big Name managers.

The cheek of forty-five for thinking the two favourites and last years finalists would meet in the final this year. The bookies must be arrogant Utd fans as well. I'm starting to understand where the abu's bitterness comes from?

Catch yourself on Breffni, he said and 'it looks set for another Barca v man U final', completely disrespecting Bayern. How is that not arrogance of the highest order. Not mention of the words 'potentially' or 'perhaps' but that 'it looks set to be'

THe bookies agreed with him and showed Bayern the same lack of respect. Are the bookies arrogant Utd fans?

Stop looking for arrogance where theres none Self-fulfilling prophecy!!! You'd think you'd be happy enough with Utd getting beat but no you want to get cheap thrills rubbing anonymous internet users' noses in it. Well done, be proud of yourself!
