I can never see a united Ireland. Not that I wouldn't be in favour of it but there will always be a big percentage of people who won't want it.

Why doesn't ROI rejoin the UK?

Lets face it, we are practically living in UK anyway. Anyone read an Irish paper or watched TV lately? Are we really a 'foreign' and 'seperate' country from UK?

That's a fair point. I just can't cope with the way new tv productions mimic British TV, the amount of Britsih news in tablid papers. It's time to be a nation once again.

Its probably time to rejoin the UK. When we got our independence we immediately gave the most important aspects health & education to the catholic church ruled from Rome and the rest of the power to corrupt politicians. We would still be Irish just as part of the UK, just as we are Irish and part of the EU now.

The most important Question now that the majority of HS users want to rejoin the UK is what cushy public sector job would you like?

I'm happy enough with the one I have thanks very much. Maybe not as handy as your semi-state one, but nonetheless ok
