an expected result at the weekend,no complaints, we were outplayed by a better outfit. lets not forget cork were probably the best team in ireland last year, should of won an all ireland and should do so this year if they can bring their form to croker. the first half was a great contest, played with great intensity but from our perspective we came up short in the second half...if were going to adopt a defensive mentality, we must limit the amount of goals we concede as the opportunity to score heavily is reduced...our forwards were again too isolated in cork and giller must find the balance for his new tactics. i can understand gillers attitude but 13 men behind the ball will not work as once we win possession it gets given straight back to the opposition as the player in possession has no options for a pass. our half forward line must maintain some element of shape or giller should play 3 men in the full forward line if he want to pull the half forwards back...galway up next and a chance to try to put things right..up the dubs. seany16 (Dublin) - Posts: 1663 - 22/03/2010 17:47:05 595317 Link 0 |

MesAmis, I wasn't as I was in London with my feet up after an operation. My brother (a cat) and his son (a dub) were at it - they have season tickets for both kilkenny and dublin - and said that the dubs gave as good as they got but Richie Power hung ye.
