We were very disappointing in championship last year. We gave Sligo and Limerick huge half time leads that we almost clawed back. If we do that against Kerry they will tear us apart.

It's very important that we stay in division 2 for the development of the team. Hopefully the under 21 footballers can beat Limerick tomorrow night and put us in a munster final.

They need more support. Kildare supporters outnumbered them 2-1 in Thurles last month. Why dont they play further south in the county. Guaranteed more would turn out if it was played in Clonmel or Ardfinnan. They have some super lads coming through.

Tipp football is definetly on the up. Fair play to themselves and Limerick in Munster. I can see both of them causing an upset or two this summer and coming from counties which are traditionally know for hurling that is a great feat.

Again not be a big football supporter but am reading the waterford book at the moment "Working on a dream". Now that's a football team making serious improvement seeing as where they were a few years ago. Their flying under the radar at the moment The beat clare in the championship last year and beat Limerick in the league even taking players from the hurling panel now. They'd get the award for most improved i would say??

Yeah, I noticed yesterday hag and cheese that Waterford are unbeaten in the league this season and challenging for promotion from division four, so definitely looks as if they too are on the up. Maybe a season too early for them in the Champo though as I cant see them beating anyone other than Clare in Munster so they would end up in the qualifiers early on and would more than likely come up with someone just that bit more Champo savvy. 2011 may well be interesting for the Deise footballers though.
