I find it very hard to understand that the People i have looked to all my life for moral guidance now can not see the moral issues and insist on hiding behind some obscure legal guidlines. How the hell can these representatives of the Church of Christ ask little Children to hide theiir abuse. Even though I think Cardinal Brady has lost moral authority and should step down Martin McGuinness has a bit of a cheek. Did he ask Gerry Adams to step aside while his brother is being investigated? Bit of a brass neck there Martin. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9840 - 17/03/2010 21:48:34 590891 Link 0 |

The difference with Gerry Adams is that the abuse had finished by the time he found out. In Cardinal Brady's case, by doing nothing he allowed the abuse to continue for another 18 years Dr.Shephard (Leitrim) - Posts: 2187 - 18/03/2010 11:22:24 591056 Link 0 |

In fairness dhorse I'm sure he asked the brother was he still at it when they were campaigning together in Louth. Obviously the answer was "no", so that's alright then. nocky (Wexford) - Posts: 2059 - 18/03/2010 16:55:20 591681 Link 0 |
